From looking at it on the video, the spaker is on the right hand side, and the propane is on the left. The flames are only on one side of the tube because the music is blasting the propane down one end. If we were to turn down the volume, then the flames would increase.

Blue man group has a lot of low-frequency percussion sound. I'd use some more "balanced" music so you can see the full spectrum of the wave

is that a metal tube??? if it is, the reaction on it with oxygen might close the fire holes. is that why half of the tube doesnt work??
