@misscountryygirl You have to be 16 just to volunteer anywhere, so theres no way in hell your gonna be training at 15, my explorer program doesn't even let you in until your sixteen.

we can be members at our vfd at 15 1/2 then you go on a 3 month probation period... plus our votech class protective services counts as training.... which i will be in it when im still 15....

i watched this movie and one of my friends is a vol. firemen and immediately texted him asking him if he was ok and to tell him to be careful and he asked why and i told him about this movie and how i cried about it... this is an amazing movie

These heroic firefighters have incredible courage that is completely unmatchable. The Ladder 49 film is completely memorable. And very much a true encounter of these firefighters who are true to their mission and of their incredible fight for survival.

This movie is very close to the tragedy we had in Worcester, MA in '99. Everything about it floods the memories. I mean everything from the scene of the fire to the lost FF, this is still very real to alot of us. Iam glad, finally, a movie got it right...for the most part. Thank you.

this is definitly a great movie. ladder 49 is by far the closet you can get too firefighting. i lost my boyfriend in a fire about 2 years ago. he was trapped under a cement collum and there was no way to him. everyday i pray for the firefighters and when i see one i thank them. you guys risk your life and i appritieate it. i have lost family in fires and they did it to save someones life. thank you too all the firefighters out there.
