It was a "normal" seizure. Though his movements were a bit odd in this case - but theoretically it could have happened to anyone.

I did some more research on the internet: one guy showed his mum, a nurse, the vid and she says there is nothing extraordinary with this seizure - just looks spectacular.

Another guy in a medicine forum even knew what had happened: he had a nerve blocked from the kick, that lead to the seizure. Noone of them said anything about a special brain disfunction. BTW. if he really had a disfunctional brain i doubt that he was allowed to play football on after the incident, which he did 3 days later.
