  • "But who are you?" - " I am the ghost of human kindness ;)" XD

  • I swear, Nemo is the cutest thing...in both the comics and in the movie. (And I never call things "cute" out loud, ever! D:)

  • I have not seen this movie in forever, I was about 1 or 2 since I last remember watching this almost 19 years ago.

  • This movie makes me wanna do shrooms!

  • Thanks for the good quality upload. I've never seen this before but it's beautifully drawn and I'm glad you didn't compress it to death.

  • Moral of this section of the movie: Boys don't like girls until the girl offers the boy her "cookie", then the boy becomes head over heels for the girl.

But on a serious note, it's a good thing Nemo's not diabetic, or Slumberland would be screwed. Bon Bon: "We have cookies!" Nemo: "I'm diabetic, what else do you have?" Genius: "Uh, I think we have some insulin in the dirigible..." Nemo: "...Sure, why the hell not, let's go!"

  • the princess is a girl? no sHiT

  • Disregard Princesses

    Aquire Cookies

  • If you take the blue pill, you'll wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. If you take the red pill, you end up in Slumberland.

  • Oh my god the king of Slumberland's name is Morpheus.

so like Morpheus from The Sandman?! Except he looks like Santa here.

Oh my god. I am so nerdy to think of that haha

  • @TheCunningAndFought He would probably just be old now. Or maybe the king would be like Morpheus Senior or something :D

  • @NefariousDreary

    Haha yeah!

Or maybe it's how the kid perceives him to look or something lol

  • @TheCunningAndFought That's an interesting way to look at it :) .......

  • @MrRiffraff84 so do i...

  • Pussy-whipped over cookies.

    Women...

    Am I right, fellas?

  • @Vorscythe Amen, brother. A-freakin'-men.

  • lol i always loved that scene with the baked goods. made me want them when i was a kid... makes me want them now XD

  • "Would you like a ride?"

    I need an adult!

  • transcribed audio makes the dream scenes even more trippy 5:04 "Online service we have been sent to you before the mission biking morpheus leaking of stumble and cold war peace."

  • the squirel pwns! thumbs up!

  • 2:12 thank goodness for little squirrel friends xD

  • I'd marry a girl for some cookies.

  • If the Nostalgia Critic reviews it, He would team up with MarzGurl because it is animated in Japan so that would be a good crossover. What do you think?

  • @Wingham64409 if he reviews it he would find a number of things to bitch about including but not limited to: voice acting, Japanese animation of a western cartoon, the animation itself, hating any moments in a kids cartoon left in for kids and most importantly, skipping past parts of the movie and claiming they never happened, and thinking it's shit because he doesn't understand what is going on.

  • @lich109 It would be okay if he watches it very carefully and with every detail he knows.

  • @lich109

Now, to be entirely fair, he doesn't necessarily feel the same way about the films he reviews that his persona claims to. He's actually completely torn into several films he likes, to various extents.

  • @Biochemitra I know, but you can't say things like "I wanted the review to be interesting, which is why I cut this part out and act like it never happened" just like how you should not insert random clips having nothing to do with the movie you're reviewing, both of which he does frequently If he says he does something because of his persona, then I should be able to criticize it. Particularily when people watch his "reviews" to see how good a movie is or isn't.

  • @lich109 That's the thing though. His movies *aren't* meant to be serious critical analysis. They're meant to be humorous. They are in no way intended to convince a person to see a movie or not to, and I think he put a disclaimer to that effect somewhere.

If you don't find him entertaining, that's your own business, but it's erroneous to try to hold him up to the standards of a serious critic, since that's not in any way what he's trying to be.

  • @Biochemitra No, they are meant to judge a movie, besides, if they aren't meant to look at the quality of a movie, then why try to do reviews at all? there are plenty of other things you could say about your show if it is only meant to be humourus, none of which call themselves reviews.

  • @Biochemitra I also don't try to hold him to any standards, aside from having a less biased look at what he is reviewing. If there is any standard to hold him to, it is his earlier reviews where he didn't need constant references to keep his reviews interesting.

It also doesn't speak well of a person when the review is more painful to watch then the movie, like the never ending story 3, the secret of nim 2, It, which is another where he pretended that some of the movie never happened.

  • @Biochemitra I know it's been a while but I FUCKING CALLED IT.

Incidentally, I don't hold him up to the standards of a critic unless he claims to criticize, I only hat it when a person deliberately edits a movie to make it seem like a bad movie.

A final fact, the "reviews" are meant to make people want to watch a movie and vise versa, why else would he tell you "go and watch this" or "don't watch this"?

  • nemo has never played with girls?

  • @SOLARBEARSTUDIOS Not back then, that was Taboo.

  • OMG! in the spanish version the part when nemo is a sleepwalker does not appear!!

  • "This princess is a girl?"

    ...Yes, Nemo. Yes.

  • I'm amazed this movie wasn't on nostalic critic mind fuck list

  • If a big bearded old man asked a 7 year old boy for a "ride" these days, it would be very concerning.

  • So much foreshadowing!

  • The part where he said "I love girls" bothers me. Lol!

  • I Dont Remember The Part Where Nemo Is Sleepwalking At All?!

Is That Part Taken Out In Some Copies Of The Movie?!?! o:

But Any Who, I Love This Movie <3

  • Mam, its not Nemo's fault that he was sleepwalking!

  • I wish somebody would buy me off with cookies...

  • Wow, she bought him off with cookies! Take notes, ladies.

  • @phangirl91 yeah. If you are trying to woo a 10 year old boy

  • @JordanKimball The way to a man's heart is through his stomach at ANY age.

  • @2wingo that is too right. lol

  • @phangirl91 I can assure you that this works in pretty much any situation.

  • @phangirl91 That's how I caught my boyfriend. Actually, it was cupcakes, but close enough!

  • @cattieloves Some guys are just lucky.

  • The squirrel is smarter than he is. Ladies, this is a woman's world, not a man's world.

  • I love Cookies!

  • You guys see that? All you need to kidnap a boy is cookies made by a princess and a king's hindenburg.

  • 0:43 JUST SAY NO! ....too late. Pedobear approved.

    4:52 What a huge ego.

    5:53: SEXISM.

    6:18: Nemo becomes a man-whore for cookies.

  • "This princess is a girl?" "Wow, this is great! I love the princess! I love girls!" LOL

  • for those with the comments it looks like anime.....in a way it is. The creator of the characters was american, came up with them waaaaay back I believe before mickey was even concieved. This was something of a film interpretation of the characters from then

  • @mooglenaur

That and alot of the movie's animation staff aren't American...

Heh, there are alot of scenes in this movie that really "pop" at you in a way that only Japanese anime can

    ^^

  • "better leave mom a note." Really?....Really??!

  • This movie reminds me so much of Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of the Oz.! XD

  • this so looks like an anime cartoon, I just noticed that

  • poor squirrel!

  • he's been hired to perform inception

  • reminds me of steamboy

  • erm... I dunno bout you guys but I find that clown girl BonBon as fit as fine. >_>

  • does anyone else hear all the greek god names? like icarus and morpheus?

  • @EMECproductions Not as much as all the bohemian hand gestures on professor genius. I know it has little relevance, but holy crap. Every two seconds.

  • @EMECproductions Morpheus was a god(the god of sleep), but Icarus wasn't. Icarus was the son of Dedalus(the guy who built the Labirynth and made wings so he and Icarus could escape prison). but, Icarus flew too close to the sun(which Dedalus warned him to avoid, since the feathers on the wings were held together with wax), and fell in to the sea and drowned. I read too much Percy Jackson. lol (:

  • @MKDSzebra3 Actually, Morpheus wasn't the god of sleep. Hypnos was the god of sleep, and his son Morpheus was the god of dreams and his other son, Phobetor, was the god of nightmares (which makes me wonder why they didn't give that name to the king of Nightmareland, if they made Morpheus the king of Slumberland). Hypnos' third son, Phantasos, has no quirky character to compare to in this story/movie/thing.

  • here is where the flood happind i think mabe not but i hope so

  • p.s. icarus prolly has squaids... O.O

  • 1:05 that's no way to hold a flying squirrel!! D:

  • "maybe if i keep sleep walking...shell let me go" lol he bullshited his way back into his room

  • @deadly: not everyone grows up in the same way and I would think that a king of a place made up of dreams should be a 'dreamer' and not a dream. Maybe that's not so clear but makes sense to me lol

  • Proof once again that, even at eight years old, the way to a man's heart is still through his stomach. ;)

  • Wow, a cartoon document with legible writting. Don't see that very often (at least when it's not the entire focus of the screen).

It's amazing how great this movie still looks even after nearly 20 years.

  • 1:01 Animal abuse? O.o;

  • Think little Nemo here doesn't take the female sex into account very much. He couldn't ask his mother to take him to the circus, he had to be paid off to go spend some time with a princess. Then he gets on an explodable Zepplin to go to Krugger land. That's it, he's retarded.

  • @DeadlyShuriken11 Or he's a little kid who doesn't think much of girls just yet. There's that.

  • @DeadlyShuriken11 I agree with erd249, I mean honestly what do you expect from a prepubescent kid? Nemo's what, only eight years old at most? At his age, in his mind, girls are weird, fluffy-minded, and have cooties. He's not retarded, he's just a normal little boy.

By the way, when Dad says "tomorrow," it is beyond LOW to go running to Mom, hoping to pit her against him by getting her to say something different - AND vice versa.
