  • I dislike this video. What are you gonna do?

  • pointless video

  • chuck norris can perform a -30.01 puunch.

  • whats up with those last punches, i hope they were example becuz i pis harder then that

  • are you gay

  • hahaa your one inch punch is pretty good.. too bad the rest of blows sucked and you won't be able to use an one inch punch in a fight

  • what the hell are you doing kid?

  • @loveless660 He's showing you how the one inch punch is done fucktard. It's quite obvious.

  • that was an oone inch punch

  • FUCK ME THATS AN AWSOME ONE INCH PUNCH!

  • that is a 3 inch punch...

  • this... was not... the floating punch... you suck. You fail. Go learn real wing chun, and then think about you've done. Nothing against you, but if you ever fought me like you fought that bag, I would eat you and it's as simple as that. Like I said it's not personal, you just need to learn before you post.

  • No respectable Wing Chun artist would comment on a video of someone attempting a punch in the way that you did. To me, all you look like is a kid that has probly watched too many Youtube videos on Martial Arts.. and not an experienced Martial Artist.

  • @iMerk93 Oh? so he was doing it correctly then? And you're proud to have him representing one of the trademarks of your art?

  • @creechkarl Im proud of anyone attemptimg to learn the Martial Art, Wether they are doing it right or wrong. This website is for entertainment, no-one is going to learn Martial Arts through watching Youtube videos anyway.. so if he's trying, then what does it matter.

  • @iMerk93 Well, maybe you do have a point. I'm still getting the impression that this person is just showing off, and I'm not being harsh to insult and belittle the person I'm trying to jar the foundation of his ignorance. Hopefully this will start a though process that ends up with this guy not trying to imitate bruce lee and instead learning the arts. I've had a lot of experience with this type of thing, and although it's about a fifty fifty shot, only thing that works is straight honesty.

  • Yeah... He's concentrated so much from what I see, of it being a "punch", but it's not an actual and pure punch. Bruce Lee uses the weight of his body by shifting the weight from his leg forward and turning his body to throw his opponent off balance. It looks like this kid's actually PUNCHING the back with full force and just force only.

  • it comes from the hips...chinese traditions call it explsive energy...u are using all sholder

  • i dunno much about this puch ( i really wanna learn it) but i heard that it comes from your legs...

  • isn't that... the three inch punch?

  • i could easily take all the punches and no move an inch back.. :-)

  • lmfao! what are you doin man..

  • 1 foot punches

  • By a one inch punch do you actually mean a 3 inch punch? lol

    Shit imo...

  • dang i would hate to see what you do when you get in a fight with someone

  • Bruce Lee is out of the grave and is coming to your house to kick your ass

  • wtf... this guy is flooding youtube with short creepy videos...

    useless, wasting time... garbage

  • you should take this off youtube, its shit, cant you see that..you're not doing it right, you'e doing it the way most people who think they can do it but really they cant. trust me, its not good.

  • this makes me really wish Brandon Lee wouldnt have died! Brandon could do what his dad did and he might have been better....doubtful but possible. I wonder if Brandon could do the 1-inch punch

  • yes he can and i agree

  • i dont think brandon couldve ever been better than bruce lee...... bruce lee is one of a kind

  • inch punch was around before bruce lee. He got the technique from yip man while learning wing chun. It takes a while to get good at but when you finish learning it, it's pretty much impossible to block as its so near and also it generates so much power.

  • weak punches man, get some muscle :/ no offense, just a tip

  • mapuki..

  • makcibai lah, dia tumbuk tumbuk untuk show off saje...

  • hey keep practicing, It is a three inch punch but its not to hard to get results from a closer range

  • excellent video. Clearly you know enough to know that everyone in the comments section here flaming you don't know what they are talking about.

  • youre an idiot

  • correction.....3 inch punch......make the distance with your fingers bent......then thats one inch punch

has to be 1 inch from your knuckles after all :D

  • what a joke

  • My Grandma would take that and laugh.

  • THIS IS THE THREE INCH PUCNH!!!!!!!! whyd you write one inch????????

  • this is the 1 inch punch, famous kind of punch because by the time you fingers are back into the punching position for your hand, you are about only 1 inch from the target, but when setting it up, you could be 2-3

  • he din even talk!how did he teach?i don think he was doing i inch punch at the last of the video...and wats the use of writing words on the wall?

  • Obviously he wasn't doing a fucking 1 inch punch, he was just pumped and felt like punching it some more. And they are fucking decorations, you dipshit.

  • being ripped and being strong are two different aspects of muscles. bruce lee had both strength and lean muscle.

  • Comment removed

  • first learn how to wright...

  • Oh the irony...

  • i think he means "write"

  • "Wright" doesn't really look like an accidental mistake ,does it ?

  • well... it DAZ to me =)

  • see im not the only one

  • fucking retard...that wasnt the one inch punch omg....

  • so what was that?

  • i just hate geeks on you tube with the name josecarlosmp

  • i hate people who say these kina thing u wigger

  • you guys are assholes man what did this dude ever do to you, what if you look at all of them he shows you how he's slowly but surely improving man y'all need to grow up even the caterpillars have to turn in to butterflies

  • oh .. nice nice :)

  • jajajaja loser

  • Loser? He's showing the One Inch Punch, a punch performed by Bruce Lee part of the Wing Chun Kung-Fu, stop being a complete bastard, if it's so pathetic, don't watch it.

  • wtf!!! do u even have proper training?

  • Does it matter? No! He's showing the One Inch Punch, a punch performed by Bruce Lee part of the Wing Chun Kung-Fu, stop being a complete bastard, if it's so pathetic, don't watch it.

  • ulol bakla ka gago. bading.

  • Look at Bruce Lee he was 160 pounds, with a top on, he didn't look anything special, although he was a brilliant martial artist. Fuck you, perform a video yourself demostrating this better than he does.

  • actually he was extremely fit, arnold himself even said that he had a very nice ripped body.

  • he looked like rock to me

  • who said he want to look like bruce lee? he just showing his inch punch...

  • ha ha ha ha TARANTADO!

  • whoa either that bag was hella tough or that dude gives some baby soft punches! lol

  • yeah ur ryt either of the 2, but maybe its the second ^_%

  • WTF?? Is this a joke?? LOL!!!

  • No, this is not a joke, this is a punch made famour by Bruce Lee, a Wing Chun Kung Fu artist, he is performing this punch to a very high standard, I know, I do this form aswell.

  • it's not karate moron

  • Straighten up your arm all the way and use your legs when you do a regular punch and i guarantee you'll get a shitload more force than the one-inch variety.

  • ok ok ... so i'm an idiot i initially clicked to watch this.. with the attitude of 'yeah whatever.. this is gonna suck' , but....

... damn that 1st punch would of killed me !!

    ROCK ON KID !!!

    ;)

  • the first hit is the one inch punch the others are just to demostrate that the power that can generate the on inch punch is much greather than street figthing/normal punches

  • the first punch was called one inch punch, generates alot of power and can damage human organs, the others are lame street fight punches that are harmless to human body.

  • LMFAO street fight

  • the first one looked like something .. but the other hits was very ..sorry to say but.. pussy -_-'

  • Excellent. Interesting to see your progress.

  • great demonstrastion of the power of the pivot, and to the guy that takes the piss with the first comment, ie come here i have something for you, you obviously have no idea of the state of your face after a perfectly thrown 1inch punch

  • What are you doing stupid idiot, come here i have something for you.......

  • nicely done....

  • lol i love how all these white people talk shit

and btw.. its just a demonstration of power ... when are you ever going to do a lot of things you learn in life... its a test for self knowledge

    fuck.

  • youtube is where people take their anger out cause they know what's gonnna happen if they say it to your face

  • thank you for explaining...wahahahahahahahaha

  • wow the punch looked a lot stronger than the few jabs afterwards 0.o

  • it's all in your mind. yu want to break to ..break it.. 1"punch is punch no push so you're friends try and push you away is wrong.. no energy. punch break.uke' may not go too far but it will hurt and you'll want that. 2) make anothr VIDEO!!!!!!!! lol

p.s. and keep your hand to yourself lol

and if you do punch mental note.

bring your arms back to defend unless you candefend by parry that fast like bruce lee ^___^

  • just like b.l. noone like b.l

  • Don't even bother training the 1" punch. It's completely useless. Why do you think boxers never use it? You're better off learning a good jab.

  • boxers use it. Ive seen it used, they don't set up with 1 inch distance for show, but they still use it and the priciples.

  • Got a video? 1" punches are useless. Boxers don't use them. They're a parlor trick, something to do to wow people, not kick ass. The only time the 1" punch works is in the movies. In real life, you're better off pinching your opponent.

  • are you serious?

  • They do but not in the face.During a clinch they use this technique to produce power and punch in the liver using their lower body and deal some damage. You only need about 10 centimetres to make the guy vomit.

  • Got a video? No, because they don't use the 1" punch -- EVER. You haven't a shred of proof. It's a useless tool no one except those who dabble in useless Asian martial arts training fuck with. Furthermore, I've never seen a boxer vomit -- at least from a very close-range punch.

Get out of fantasy land. Learn how to box, not throw useless punches that will only piss off your opponent.

  • seriously, youre a moron. go and learn somthing and come back here and laugh at yourself. goof.

  • I'm gonna laugh win this "boxer" talks shit to the wrong MAist one day and wakes up looking at the celeing.

  • if you don't know how to do a 1 inch punch, you don't know how to Jab properly. The priciples are the exact same, but a jab has a longer reach. Its like the Straight Lead punch in JKD. Boxers use the Straight Lead all the time. Don't fuss over the name, the technique is the same. Research it, better yet- do it!

  • Anyone can do a 1" punch but the fact of the matter is it's worthless and there's no point in practicing it. I actually take boxing and no one has mentioned anything about the 1" punch and I've never seen anyone use it during practice or otherwise. It's not the same techinque. You may know 1" punching and JKD but you obviously don't know boxing, so you're the one who needs to go and learn something. And you've yet to give me an example of a boxer using the 1" punch.

  • "you've yet to give me an example of a boxer using the 1" punch." Why don't you do your own homework.

how do you jab? just flick your arm out? you don't use power leads? my cousin is a Boxer and uses it, why dont you? different styles of boxing I guess.

  • I tried, man. No boxer has ever said anything about the 1" punch and it's never been used in the clinch.

I don't know how you or your cousin jab but I shoot my arm out and turn my fist over, being sure to keep my body lined up by keeping my shoulder near my chin and making sure I don't lean. I also keep my other hand up for protection and after I'm done I pull my jab hand back to my guard. No chi or magic Chinese bullshit involved. Just all biomechanics.

  • dont have to be jab. short distance. this is just wingchun punch. now do a short distance uppercut. or backfist.. hhmm do homework for that. hehe

  • i love this guy... im going to track his ass down one day and fight until then i love him

  • have some respect

  • hahaha..nice man..

  • why do you all try to sound smart with these comments? you all sound like idiots except batman

  • get a new hoover...

  • doesnt much matter if someone is small if they have enough speed and all they can take on a guy whos 7' tall.

  • noo u have 2 move ur hipss other wise the one inch punch will not work

  • when you punch (after the first1) DON'T move your whole body move your hands!!(mostly)

  • yea ur quick but theres absoultly no power, it would hurt less then a slap by a woman, sorry.

  • crap

    poor demo

  • 70% speed

    30% str

    is ideal

  • were u read or hear dat from

  • lolz :)

  • LOL the end is funny

  • Just ignore these assholes, strength isn't power, speed and weight is. That doesn't mean you need to be heavy, just means you need a stronger base stance. Imagine you are trying to stop and hold the punch about an inch past the target, dont let your punches recoil off.

  • wot a downo fuck you cock

  • what the fuck you nothing

  • not bad i recomend you to include some isometrics excersise in your training and you will feel stronger and faster

  • pathetic

  • I seriously recomend including some strength training in your regime brother, all the speed in the world means nothing without some strength combined.

  • mira como tiemblo chino cabro

  • hahaha u look like u cant fight

  • that was a 3 inch punch

  • lol his 1 inch punch was okay. his punches are really crappy though =/ if u ppl know how to punch u know his punches are jacked up, in extreme cases that bad punching form can result in broken elbow bro.

  • you have a good wrist snap but like some1 else said by having your elbo straightend you can generate more power with the added spring, keep practicing its a good start.

  • learn xingyi

no better fighting system on earth IMO

  • Its better than some of the shit on here.

  • Wow!! That's alot better, can you please tell how to do the one inch punch, you know, just the basics.

  • Well, I saw this document where you could train on a bag full of like, flour or something. Basically, you point your fingers on the target, and when you puch, simply flick the fist up and its generates the force.

Now, im am not sure if thats how it works, because I have no MA knowledge what so ever, but thats what I saw while watching.

  • thats the shit man!!

  • that one is better than the others 2

seems to be a powerfull punch for me

  • lol more like a 5 inch punch , fcuking wannabe

  • if yall are better then post a vid and show it. dont be dicks if u cant back it up. oh and ur elbow is comin out, leave it in so ur punch can be straight. ;)

  • Go learn some real martial arts. Can tell from your puny arms and smooth hands that you never trained seriously in your life. You can't fake it!

  • actually im just as skinny as him and i free run and my hands look fine o and i can lift my 170lb or pound i dunno friend with ease and im just as skinny

  • No, sorry, you're just still too rigid.

  • its not bad but there was a little draw back (an inch or so plus finger distance, making it more like a 4 inch punch) was still good though

  • the weight of the bag is demonstrated by the flurry of punches afterward and there relative lack of effect on the bag. not bad man... you have certainly made improvements... but are you using bruce lee's JKD stance and technique... it doesn't look it, that would add a significant amount of power and is a simple change.

  • do u even know jkd?

  • i killed a bear with that punch before

  • Sure you have, if you did you'd be in jail. Nice punch, little wonky, but still good.

  • Kawaii the punch bag is set up on a brase leaning on a bracit you could say and it has a stand and he is obviously strong enough to punch it to make it rock so it has to be hard.

  • Respect that man

  • Firstly, the obviously pushed the bag, you don't need to be strong to do that. Also, you have no idea how heavy the bag really is so you are talking out your butt hole.

Secondly, if you think I am 'pretending to know ... this shit' then counter-argue my points. If you can't then your argument is based on insults which really says a lot about your intelligence.

In conclusion, I just think you like to talk out your ass.

  • u suck man

  • lol very nice man am gona try and train my one inch punch.

  • NOOBSAUCE hahahahaha indeed id love to get punched by this dude i might enjoy it

  • with a side of pwnage

  • That's not the one inch punch. In traditional Wing Chun martial arts we only have one style of punching and that is a straight punch. Your first punch was straight but you lacked precision, and also your wrist movement was exaggerated.

The fact that you swung your shoulders in your final punches and did not use your stance to generate power proves you have not studied the martial art.

  • Nobody takes somebody serious who calls himself kawaiipikachu...

  • Dude, I didn't have a choice, most names are taken and I didn't want to spend hours thinking of a username!

  • Hehe, my bad, buddy. But explaining Martial Art Techniques with a kawaii in your name is a arkward combination.

  • Hey man, I greatly respect the martial arts community on youtube and (obviously) throughout the world. Now I don't know if you have taken any official martial arts, no offense but I am guessing you haven't, but keep training I think you are doing just fine.

  • i hate the fact that the comments here think they know how to perform the one inch punch. I think 80% of you guys here are complete bulls**t

  • showupper....... it makes you look so dumb

  • you are dispersing your energy by standing that way. Your shoulders and hips are not facing your target, so you energy disperses and results in less of an outcome.

  • one inch punch? well... Fa Jin, nothing more. In a sitting position you will not get nearly one tenth of the power of a Fa Jin punch.

  • your "normal punches" are crap, you are obviously untrained.

but I wish you luck for your one inch punch voyage. Fortunately, it is very well documented in the internet.

  • this kind of punch is not about the triceps. the key is the leg/hip coordination. you are supposed to throw your whole body weight into that short movement. the arm merely transmits that energy from your legs/hips/shoulder. That's why Wing Chun practitioners don't get it.

  • keep that face covered while u punch. something I'm still working on

  • NOOBSAUCE!

  • the three inch punch is suppose to be used using the force fom your thigh's up to your waist then u snap your waist giving a momentum to your hips then u take the energy and velocity of that motion into your arm and throuout your body you hand angle was correct but from what i could see from your body your stance was far off i will not cll you a fool or any of that mystic crap but i will say u must practice it take this to heart remember up and out oh and dont pull your punches

  • Dude, like someone else said, you were holding back on your normals punches and I even see you feign a punch completely in there. Fool

  • I commented on your 'One Inch Punch 2' video. Hah, sorry for the bombard of the comments. But yeah, that's very much well done, using HOPEFULLY from what I see your entire body. Nice work, keep at it.

  • ...Not bad. That punch can be done, in fact, from that distance. But the trick is to put your whole body into it. From here, it looks like you're just using your upper body. There's supposed to be a distinct snap to each relaxed punch that gives it the extra kick needed. Suggestion: Use that torque that you seem to have improved on at the exact moment of impact. Think of each punch as a fencing lunge- extend the sword first, then use the body to drive the point home.
