  • 4:25 i think is the best part of the falsetto

  • I love how one of your tags is "Amazing" <3

  • this is muse.there is no poor quality

  • you are a total star, sends shivers down my spine!

    straight into my playlists!

  • I cry !!! ='(

    It's so beautiful!!!

  • @jkcheese i'm pretty sure they played a piano version of cave at their free concert in teignmouth (2009) or i might be mistaking it for something else i can't remember but i am 80% sure they played cave so you should search it up.

  • omg I've been looking EVERYWHERE for this! Thank you so much!

  • 4:51 sounds wobbily but could it match up to one of his highest notes? I mean, i know its been apparently confirmed that it was only in 2000 Muscle Museum Ipswich but that sounds pretty close to what was heard then..Hmm, i wonder. This is a brilliant find by the way.

  • @jkcheese That's not even close, sorry. I would say that every live performance of Showbiz, Micro Cuts, Bliss(ext), TaB and Megalomania, among others, are higher.

  • @sippe555 I suppose you are pretty right there. But usually wobbly pharanegal would be high. But this is probably a F5 maybe? Micro Cuts being G5 and Showbiz being G#5..

  • @jkcheese Not sure if it's even a F5, but I could be wrong. And btw, he reaches G#5 in Micro Cuts too ;)

  • @sippe555 And an A#5 in Muscle Museum Live at Ipswich 2000. ;)

  • @jkcheese Yeah, though that is very uncontrolled, and it's a shame that he can't reach such notes anymore :(

  • @sippe555 Technicaly, he can still reach the high notes as Citizen Erased, Bliss, Exogenesis Symphony Part 1, Plug In Baby, Supermassive Black Hole have all featured on The Resistance Tour. But yeah, not really as often as used to :(

  • @jkcheese Ehm, sorry but CE and SMBH barely has any notes classified as "high" for Matt. PIB is pretty high, but still not close to what he used to. Bliss has also gotten way worse over the years, and he's obviously struggling with it.

  • @sippe555 Well maybe not Supermassive Black Hole so much but Citizen Erased does go high. Bliss is still good for what its worth (I mean Matt is 32) You still make a good point though. I still think he can hit the high notes, he just doesn't bother for some reason :\

  • @jkcheese Well, it's only logical that he loses a bit of his range when he gets older. I enjoy Matt's voice a lot more now than on Showbiz, but he has definitely problems with reaching the highs of Showbiz and Cave for example. He may still be able to reach them, but it takes a lot on his voice, and it's just not worth destroying his voice because of it :)

  • @sippe555 If he does pharanegal which he usually does that actually protects his voice. But yeah, he does have problems reaching Showbiz (which I'm shocked to say hasn't been played live since 2006) :( and Cave.

  • @jkcheese 4:51 is G#5. so it's pretty high but can't beat the Ipswich gig (A#5) =)

  • That'd be so fucking awesome if they came back to Orléans! I missed them the first time I wouldn't miss them the second one.

  • musegasm

  • amaaaaaaazing

  • such feelings...

  • the falsetto ending might be one of those things you'll never get a chance to hear again- happy there's a bootleg of it. amazing.

  • @silverdonut this bootleg needs to be copied infinite number of times and held on the most secure servers/hard drives/cds/dvds so it's never lost.

  • this is a treasure.. take care of this one..
