I was stood along the hedge that runs to the end of the runway where she starts her runs from. An excellent viewpoint for both the taxi and then the run. If she does 2 runs on 29th May I might try a different viewpoint for the second run. Fingers crossed she has a good day then! :)
Not sure, before the event I do know they did some work on the throttle linkage and replaced a fuel valve seal so perhaps something was not quite right there. Lightnings are very temperamental though. I haven't seen any photo's of the event on the net but I'll be taking photo's at the next one.

Was you always around the threshold of the runways or did you dash around there as she looked to taxi?

I doubt it as I am saving up for a European Airshow this year which needs passport and lots of money as it'll probably be a Russian one!
