    love ya LOndon!!!!!

  • Me like! And some of your music is playing in front of the Venetian in LV. You da man!

  • Cezanne, Seurat, even Andrew Wyeth. Van Gogh of course. (My grandmother taught me well.)

  • a favorite---tfp!

  • Glad you enjoyed the artwork;)

  • I went, I saw, I loved, thank you again:)

  • I went,I saw and I replied:)

    Thank YOU again Kathy:O)

    You're always welcome..

  • A man with many talents! Way to go Ray! You never cease to amaze me. Your art is very good ;)

  • Thank you again Kathy.

Art is very important to me..

Glad you liked the art work:)

I'll send you a live painting I did.

  • Oh. Now I see. You are a painter first and now a video artist. I especially like the two pieces at :13 & 2:30. The one at 2:13 is a great use of leading lines and convergence. Your self-portrait says a lot. The naked lady piece is (intentionally) very mysterious. I'm going to look to see if you have more 'painting vids'.

  • Your work is always an inspiration, Ray!

  • A multi-faceted artist! These paintings are rich and lifelike. Lots of enchanting scenery.

  • Thank you Cliff.

    Happy you enjoyed the art.

I'm going to get back to painting soon.

I'll see if I can do a vid of it;)

  • Excellent!! Very talented. I specially love the English Country sights. Brilliant!!

  • Thanks 3mica.

I'll see about some more paintings to put up here.

If you like the English country side, take a look at my,'Trip to Shaugh Prior' vid;)

  • Came back to pay another visit. I really like this video Ray! It is FAB Fabulous! Music is tough too! See you later alligator...

  • Nice to see you again Rex. The music wasn't mine;O/

I'll have to put some more paintings up.?

  • The more paintings the better. You have many talents!

  • more of your talants bril. 5 star

  • Brill!

  • Cheers bruv;)

  • just beautiful...! im so amazed...! MEGA TALENT...!!!

  • Happy you liked them M;)

  • very good..im impressed!! really! you are blessed with alot of talent :)

  • Thanks Magik;)

  • It's good to see some decent paintings, instead of the rubbish that passes for modern art.Excellent work.

  • Thanks J.

Yeah, things are bad in the art world when,a fire extinguisher, on the wall in an art exhibition, is mistaken for 'art'.?

  • I do love detail but had to try to forget that when doing oils;)

Sorry for the delay in replying back..

  • Thanks Sis.

When do you want me to come over to give you lesson....!

  • This video inspired me to try a new idea. Mine's a bit of an exorcism, but I got the idea of using my art from you.

  • Your work reminds me of Francis Bacon's paintings, very deep.

  • Sehr interessante Bilder und Klänge.

  • Vielen Dank. Ich bin du mochte meine Anstriche froh.

Thank you. I am glad you liked my paintings.

  • Excellent work, you are quite talented.

  • You ain't too bad yourself;)

  • Wow , you're an amazing artist all around. I had no idea that you could paint too! This is fantastic...

  • Cheers David.

Art is all that I live for,I love to create stuff and hate it when nothing comes to mind to do,I feel empty.

    Glad you enjoyed my work.

    Again,sorry for the late reply;)

  • I am late in watching my subscriptions too...But I'm glad I subscribed! Cheers!

  • great art work my friend--do you have them hanging in your home??hard to say my fav-i think i like the one at(113)

  • Thank you Marc.

01:13 is of a neighbour of mine,he's always up in the woods either planting or cleaning up.

I have a few hanging in the front room, hallway and loads on the wall here, where the PC is;)

    Sorry for the late reply.

  • Love the colours in your landscapes. The horse seems to look straight thru me (as horses often do) & the profile of the lady with the black hat is stunning. I'd like to stare at that paining for a while. The ladies under the umberella is beautiful. Great way to showcase your art work!

  • I don't know what happened to the reply I did yesterday.Poof,it's gone.?

The lady in the black hat had an interesting face.

The ladies on the beach was copied from a Jean Baptiste Jules Thayer,(1824-1908) painting called 'On the Beach'.

    Glad you enjoyed the show;)

  • I saw the resemblance, but it's still your own ; )

  • Nice work Ray. I like the ones at 1:14 and 3:07 especially. You are a talented man! I can't quite put my finger on the horse. I am at a lose for words. 5*****

  • 01:14 is a neighbour called Paddy John,he's 73 and still very active and 03:07 is a self portrait.

The horse was the first coloured drawing I'd done,I've always been into detail.

Happy you liked the art work.

    Bugger,I forgot the Indian Chief.?

    Sorry for the late reply;)

  • You did good! Nice neighbor for sure and I knew all day long that was you at 3:07. You were quite a strapping young man! You did a good job on yourself. I think it caught the attention of your friend in London too that did the video on your artwork. You have led an interesting life I think. I bought a camera from an Aztec indian today. He knew his stuff at Best Buy Electronics. lol

  • LOL...That's how I still look Rex,a bit thinner on top but still long.?;)

Aztec was the name of the first band I played drums with, many, many, many years ago.

You don't get many Aztecs over here.!

  • you remind me a lot of Van Gogh in some of these pieces. Fantastic work!

  • Van Gogh..WOW...If only;))

    Glad you liked my work.

Again, sorry for the delay in replying;)

  • WOW!!! You are an amazing artist! Thank you for sharing this side of your many talents!! :-)

  • Thank you very much Caylyn.

    Art is my life.

When I'm out, I'm seeing things as they would look as a picture;)

Apologise for the lateness in replying.

  • Gorgeous. I love the textures in the oils the watercolors are evocative and the pastels are very graceful. Cool sounds too, and a nice way to present your work.

  • Thanks C333.

Oils are fun to use,I find them much easier to use than watercolour;)

Sorry for the reply in getting back to you.

  • ***** Great body of work. I especially loved the detail in the horse portrait.

  • Thank you Tess.

The horse was a pleasure to draw and building up the layers of colour brought the thing to life. The one here is a copy, the original had even more defined detail, which got lost in the copying;)

    Sorry for the late reply.

  • Wished I had some courage in painting as you do, but with no technical skill in this field you´re too much depending on luck and also react to the moment it appears on scene (and put the brush aside immediately ), know what I mean ?

    greetings,Ray

  • Awesome, and I thought the horse was incredible! You really capture the spirit and feel of your subjects! Awesome again, I really enjoy your work :)

  • Thank you Mother. The horse was the first drawing I'd done in colouered pencil,I went on to do portraits for people,in coloured pencil and just pencil.I do like the detail;)

And I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you;)

  • Wow, a very nice and interesting glimpse at Your work. You're a really versatile artist, Ray. I enjoyed the nature paintings, some of the portraits and the abstract pieces the most! Tried acryl and oil myself some time ago, but found I didn't have the patience and maybe the talent;-)

How many paintings all in all did You do?

  • Thank you JM.

I enjoy ALL art in all it's forms.

Try oils as opposed to acrylic, acrlyic dry to quick, oil you can move about.

    Sorry for the late reply.
