This place rocked. We were just there yesterday (8-28-10) and the beer was slammin. I had 3 of the stout and was buggin. The turkey legs are a must. they taste like ham and are packed full of meat

@sadlobster1 I just went there recently, and you may want to consider wearing a coat around this time of the year, but otherwise, your alright. My friend got soaked, and he had to go to the hospital because he wasn't feeling right, at all. It was still fun, though.

@InvaderAlley Sometimes, people want to get dressed up, but they don't have the funds. You can bet I would dress up for the Renaissance Faire but I simply don't have enough to put together a costume that I would appreciate. I get what you're saying though, You should at least dress nicely for the ren faire.

we got our first annual ren faire where we live and the Class Clown was there :D he goes home to his ren faire in pennsylvania every year to perform. He was by-far the best performer at ours and he came free so it was all the better

I wrote a script for a short film about 20 - 30 minutes.

Part ll was shot this past April at our Renaissance fair, but 9 minutes of filming turned out blue ( blank ) so we are in process of rescheduling.

Now... I would like to complete part ll and lll , combine them

then publish. Im shooting this summer and hope to have it ready by autumn.

It depends on how expensive the sword is. They are very reasonable, I got a katana with a dragon on the blade for 20 bucks. I got a 2 handed claymore for 15.

Then of course they have remakes from movies like the lord of the rings and shit for alot.

But they hold a raffle, and most of the time there's a good chance of winning.

I love the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, I've been going there since 2004. Last summer my mother, my godmother, her brother and myself stayed during both days of the opening weekend. I can't wait to go back next summer but I also wish that I could work there with them, I have pretty good acting skills and I can speak the dialect very well

I love this place, go there at least once a year often more. You feel like you're in a time warp, the atmosphere is so authentic. Good beer (Swashbuckler Golden Ale), great food, great acts. 5 stars! Giacomo The Magician is my personal favorite.
