3:15 An absolute fucking lie, debunked over and over again.McVeigh was in no way an "evangelical christian" — nor am I, so I am not being defensive. Hartmann is, however, a lying pinko son of a bitch, and Breggin is a quack.
@Gostwriterindisguise the onus is on you to negate the science he mentions regarding how these drugs effect the brain. Breggin is no quack he knows better than almost anyone the destructive effects that drugs have on the brain. He's one of few psychiatrists with the integrity to follow where the evidence leads and to make it known to the public. Unlike his colleagues Biederman, Martin Keller et al found guilty of colluding with pharmaceutical companies his views are untainted by lucre's lure.
What a fascinating commentary on psychology today. This has also been my experience- the cold lack of compassion. I mistakenly attributed it to the person in question, not the general field.
In my opinion, this is also one very possible outcome in a society that becomes fanatical about religion- and the military has this ripe environment, I think.

some people simply have not enough emotions and affection.
they created the world we live in, full of wartoys and psychotoys,
city models full of puppets, ads of fucking cosmetics;
simply because they are the majority. the majority is affectiveless and dangerous because of that. they simply act like puppets

This guy is absolutely right about modern psychiatry. Counseling works better than pills, in my experience.
