  • A 19m is intimidating, but like any kite if it's within its wind range then it is not a problem. A larger kite like this helped me to progress very quickly getting me out and staying out on very marginal days. Check out my youtube channel and you can see my progress throughout the year. I now fly bow kites on water, and use the Chargers on land although the 19m is always with me at the lake just in case the wind takes a dive. By the way I am around 165-170lbs.

  • Its some riding. I spent the whole summer on the east coast without much wind and saw many riders at your level but with much more experience.

I'm curious what you weight in at? With winds @ 10-15 mph on a 19m, I'm guessing your probly around 155lbs. ?

And a 19m CAN be intimidating. Thought about going larger... mostly for lighter winds.

You seem to handle just fine.

    Good Vid.

Show us your progress next summer.

    BTW-you kite on land?

  • nice video! please make more charger videos! show more of the kite!

does the autozenit work with the charger? there are different opinions on that. some say charger has no working autozenit, but official website says it has autozenit...

  • @hercion Keep in mind I am new to this sport, the Charger is my first depower kite, and I have only had it a few months, that being said I think the Auto-zenith is great. As long as it is not on a direct path down to the water, it will just be sitting at 12 waiting. I had let a experienced kiter fly my 19m in light wind and he was a little nervous about it just wanting to stay at 12 thinking it might Hindenburg of course it did not. That only happens if the wind totally dies. Love the Charger.
