Gotta say, we have completely different builds, but like you said, yours is only for DN because alot of the amazing rank 4s (Lavalval Chain, Daigusto Emeral, Verz Ouroboros) aren't out in TCG yet. Right now I run a build that uses the T.G. engine and a couple of boulders and some Creature Swaps, and the deck does serious WORK. It does first turn Trish as consistently as plants, first turn Nat Beast as consistently as Karakuris, and first turn Barkion as consistently as Sams.

Not sure why you are running the cores without the other support. would almost get rid of them for phantom horn. would really need to playtest/see it in action to see if cores would be helpful. I do love that you are still building out of the blue decks in this lame format. Keep the awesome stuff coming!!

I like the wording on Crusader as well, because I've tried D Fissure so many times. I've had a few people question and ask to read Crusader, and sure enough it doesn't say it needs to hit the grave. Also since I ran a Dimensional Eatos kind of build with Barbaros to reveal for Urnight and Crusader, Crusader helped keep the stuff out of my grave and then I could randomly drop Eatos and push for game. Also, Crusader says any Koa'ki Meiru card, so it can be used to recycle the Core if need be.

When they don't have any particular synergy with the deck, then yes.. It looks like someone made a koaki type engine, added all the staples, had six remaining spots left, and just threw floaters in. Very lazy.

When making a deck I always consider the bare bones of the deck first. After that I attempt to find cards that either play off the current strategy, or increase consistency. Cards like Duality, or upstart. If theres remaining space then use filler.

Tengu is a Beast-Warrior which you can reveal for The Koaki Meiru Sader/Urnknight. And Cliffs you can Reveal for Guardian... And like he said in the Vid, they help to exceed into Lalval to send an Iron core form the deck to the grave which speeds up the deck...

The tech genus are a better option. You can reveal them easyier because they get added to hand, they float, and you give them easy synchro capabilities.

Koa'ki meiru don't have an issue exceeding anyway. What he did was over kill.

@linny177 So what are you mad about the most then, the fact he didn't play a pure Koa'ki Meiru deck or that he went with a hybrid of staple cards and a few select Koa'ki Meriu's with some cards to make the deck faster and possibly have more synergy? I see your point with the possible laziness, but also taking this in to consideration, some people who may/want to copy this in real life don't want to play a pure breed deck or hunt down all the theme specific cards to find that they don't like it.

I'm not mad about anything. I'm just saying it doesn't look like he put enough effort into this deck. He doesn't have to play pure koaki meiru, in fact, I would advise against that, most of their support is too situational. Last message I suggested tech genus. They're cheap, and easy to find. The giant mesh of staples does contribute to my thinking he was lazy on this one tho.

@linny177 Ok, ok. I definently agree that a pure Koa'ki Meiru deck is too situational in most cases. Ok, so Tech Genus is an option, but they only cover for Warrior, Beast-Warrior and Beast type revealing Koa'ki Meiru's only (Striker, Warwolf and Rush Rhino respectively). Plus, they are almost no different then what Dubkdad1 is running (Naturia Cliff and Reborn Tengu), they both do the same thing, thin the deck and for revealing. But, I think Dubk was wanting the others mostly for field presece.

You should play horn of the phantom beast!! it lets you get to your power place faster and you have 9 good targets
