#1 - Bin Laden was (at some point) controlled by the CIA, his code name was "Tim Osman". He was watched carefully and looked after by the CIA in a Dubia Hospital, where he was undergoing kidney dialisis in June, 2001.
#2 - I disagree with you saying that they want people to think he is still alive. Not at all, if you watch Obama, he is very happy to claim responsability for his death. Anyway, the whole thing is a fairytale - a fake !

actually I watched the interview with Mulla Dadullah and he said that although HE THINKS bin Laden is alive he has NOT met him in person and only receives letters from him
also Dadullah made the mistake of getting close to "al-sahab" and very shortly after he was killed, and his brother Mansur got in trouble too right after his appearance on al-sahab
And the al-sahab videos are well made, but the CIA still cant fake videos perfectly in HD, the CGI hasnt advanced to that level

I think they are trying to cause confusion and spread disinfo. What I believe happened was that he was killed in Tora Bora when he was surrounded, then they CLAIM that Hikmatyar "saved him" from Tora Bora, which I believe to be a LIE
so he never left Tora Bora and was killed there
