If you ever let your character stand on the very edge of a platform, you'll notice that they go into a "teetering," animation. It kind of looks like they are just about to fall but somehow balancing themselves.

This animation can cancel any and all other moves/abilities from a character (in the case you are talking about its the taunt). He runs from edge to edge canceling the taunt, but the sound still plays (which is why you here "ok," several times).

Given Isai vs. Kurtis, Isai is at the advantage because he's so much better than his opponent that he can overcome his character's disadvantage. As some of the other comments on this video say, Kurtis is not an amazing player, and Isai...well...is.

tiers dont mean an auto win generally, they're mostly based around matchups and there aren't really any matchups in ANY fighting game period that get as bad as 100/0

theres always a chance bad characters can win, but it just relies on heavily outplaying your opponent, and its difficult at higher level of play where people actually know how to play the game/abuse bad characters

Double jump cancel is just double jumping very quickly with yoshi and ness then doing an attack to cancel the momentum and taunt cancel is running off an edge and taunting at the same time to hear the taunt but not see it.
