All I really see between the two:

Macs are expensive, majority of population can't afford. Therefor, they don't have a clue which is better but LOVE to boast about how their PC is soooo much better...

I see commercials for windows on tv all the time...and I can't help but notice...why is Microsoft's target audience always lowlife? Because, its affordable for the lowlife...once they get the message out, everyone goes out and buys a pc. Simple. People don't have a clue.

ALL major companies and corporations use Windows, along with the majority of home users too. Why? Because Macs are for children and/or dumbasses who can't talk without using their hands.

the spotlight search is too inclusive imop the vista startbar search may give less results but I find that it is better

Just for the record, Microsoft did have the technology for sidebar first in the very first beta of Longhorn (the codename eventually becoming Vista). That WAS in 2003 well before Dashboard came out. Microsoft just took 5 years to release Vista giving Apple a chance to bring out dashboard first! If anything, Apple stole the inovation from Microsoft. Look it up!
