does the sweat affects the vest in any kinda way? or does it damage it in the long time?

Sweat makes the surface of the vest a bit wet; that's about it. I can't imagine it does any sort of damage to it. The thing's made of pretty thick nylon and holds cast iron weights without deteriorating, so I'm sure it can stand a bit of water.
