The state of California has placed a large order of these robot teachers and plans on replacing them with the real teachers who will be laid off and guess who's funding this move? I'd have to say that the laid off teachers deserve all they are going to get for brain washing our children with this Obama crap. Change? They screamed and cried for it now their laid off asses will have nothing but Change in their pockets. Hope other states follow California's lead. LOL

These teachers need to shut thier traps and stop complaining!!! The layoffs wouldn't happen for at least 6 months if at all! The teachers are the HIGHEST paid in the country, yet there is a 50% drop-out rate in LAUSD!!! Lastly, there has been a 7% reduction in enrollment in the schools, yet there hs only been a 1% reduction in the teachers!! Over 65% ofthe states budget goes to education, and over 60% of that goes to just the pay for teachers and Administrators..........
So that means that less than a third of the total budget gets to the classroom!!! Besides, the Gov. is NOT going to "cut the budget", he is merely going to reduce the proposed increases for the schools. Sorry but in economic times like this, things NEED to be shaved back a tad!!! It's not about the kids tothese people, it's just about themselves!!!!
Sorry, but you CAN'T keep coming back to the taxpayers for even MORE money!! Sooner or later it's just going to run out...then what??

The commercialization of education (of which budget cuts are a part of) is driven by global forces around the world.
Therefore this development can only be countered by a global movement!!
