  • this is principally Rick Derringer on this number. Johnny takes a back seat. It is also Rick Singing and shouting. The greatest rock guitar pairing ever.

  • god, where do we go from here?

  • Wilbur ... God.... plays a guitar. You didn't do it. I didn't do it. Johnny did it. Johnny plays guitar.

  • to have one son. i have none. but, to have one son... might he be Johnnly Winter? I that way too much to ask. I want one son, I want him to Johnny Winter, that isall.

  • this is not the recording. YOU must buy it. the rarest is what you cannot have. listen asshole I am from Detroit. The baddest spin on the planet is Johnny Winter And Live. nuf said cocksucker.

  • Johnny Winter And Live is easily the most energy-packed having sex like a red-butt-monkey recording in history. Winter does not talk about recording that live in Florida. They were on the hook 'wit de hair on'. So, no one is talking.

  • Is this on the Lost Rose label?

  • JUst incredible

  • I still have 30 Johnny Winter Albums in a collection-Some have Edgar on them-one looks like Edgars Winters First-One is Johnny Winter AUSTIN TEXAS-Love this fellow. Plus some cassettes and CD*S what a body of work!

  • Thank you a million times over for posting this! Next to the Duane/Dickey era of ABB, Johnny and Rick in '71 are my favorite guitar tandem, and their three commercial releases just aren't enough. If you can find any more of this show, PLEEZE post it!! Or contact me, I'll gladly remaster and post it. This is priceless stuff!

  • That is a rare recording. Thanks for posting.

  • I saw them do this live at the Eastown theatre in Detroit. Probably the same year.

  • This is the "Johnny Winter And" live version..I think i still have the LP..best version of "Mean town Blues" on there, too..

  • @TwoPointsUp .... this is not the cut from the And Live Album... damn good version tho.... ( still got my orig LP from 1971 )

  • Where did this come from ?????????? This IS the original "Johnny Winter And" band live, Rick Derringer proving as always that he was always SOoooo.... underestimated, but I've never heard this before - And I thought I heard them all - Thanks for putting this up !!!!!!

  • ok a good song, but and the video? please somebody help me

  • aw man????????????????? where did this cut come from? unreal! great! thank yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou! git it Johnny!

  • Oh my God, another version of "and" Where on earth did who ever posted this, find this. This is priceless. One of the most high energy sets cover to cover was "Johnny Winter And Live" in '71, even to this day. I really don't think anything comes close to the energy intensity of that original set. Here is another version with Rick Derringer on vocals. Good job to whom ever posted this. Anymore?

  • wonderful shake it baby shake!!!
