Kayaks look a lot like aligators. Aligators eat turtles. Turtle sees an aligator moving towards it, it scrambles off into the water and hides on the bottom for a while.

that is true but one reason the wouldnt be the case(in this senario) this is close to possibly in canada... there are no aligators there..
