It didn't take place until Jesus was exalted by the Father and entered into His glory as Jesus says in His prayer to the Father in John 17:5. However, just because the word "trinity" isn't mentioned, doesn't mean it isn't reality. All throughout the OT, God speaks of His righteous branch who would come and establish His kingdom. It would be eternal and one that could not be destroyed(Dan 7:13,14)

@lilbigbrow all throughout the bible you see God's constant desire to save sinful man. We were created in His image and according to His likeness to have dominion over the earth. But man fell into condemnation due to sin. Although God was angry with man and his rebellion, He is always patient and desires that we come to Him, seeking His life. The whole purpose of Christ coming to earth was to restore and redeem us from sin and reconcile us back to Him so we could maintain that godly image.

@kingdele01 4- Miracles were given to the three prophets. Moses, Jesus and Mohammad .. even to non prophets like Suliman... That doesnt make Jesus God or son of a God, because following that many prophets are sons of God then. Besides, In the hebrew's version of Bible it was mentioned that Mohammad will be sent, which was translated to english by (and thus we all be praised) or somehting like that to escape the fact of the coming prophet. First of all, you are not interpreting the comment of Jesus there correctly. Jesus never for once said that He (His essence/Spirit) was created by the Father. On the other hand, the Bible that has told us all about Jesus, even before He came, makes it clear that He is eternal (Micah 5:2).
Unless you want to tell me that God created a Being, in eternities past, that was without beginning or end like Himself, that is when you can say Jesus (His Spirit) was created.
You also pointed to Jesus' statement saying, "My Father,..., is greater than all..."
But what you conveniently forgot to quote the rest; "no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
Also, if you read further into the chapter, it was clear that the hearer knew that He was equating Himself to God.

@lilbigbrow if they'd been alive at the time of the outpouring of the holy spirit they would have. It didn't take place until Jesus was exalted by the Father and entered into His glory as Jesus says in His prayer to the Father in John 17:5. However, just because the word "trinity" isn't mentioned, doesn't mean it isn't reality. All throughout the OT, God speaks of His righteous branch who would come and establish His kingdom. It would be eternal and one that could not be destroyed(Dan 7:13,14)

@lilbigbrow all throughout the bible you see God's constant desire to save sinful man. We were created in His image and according to His likeness to have dominion over the earth. But man fell into condemnation due to sin. Although God was angry with man and his rebellion, He is always patient and desires that we come to Him, seeking His life. The whole purpose of Christ coming to earth was to restore and redeem us from sin and reconcile us back to Him so we could maintain that godly image.

In this scripture, Jesus is not only saying that He gives life, He is saying, He is capable of giving eternal life. There isn't any other statement that proves He is superior to all creation than that.

@kingdele01 4- Miracles were given to the three prophets. Moses, Jesus and Mohammad .. even to non prophets like Suliman... That doesnt make Jesus God or son of a God, because following that many prophets are sons of God then. Besides, In the hebrew's version of Bible it was mentioned that Mohammad will be sent, which was translated to english by (and thus we all be praised) or somehting like that to escape the fact of the coming prophet. This makes it CHANGED. AND look at the video itself :)

First of all, you are not interpreting the comment of Jesus there correctly. Jesus never for once said that He (His essence/Spirit) was created by the Father. On the other hand, the Bible that has told us all about Jesus, even before He came, makes it clear that He is eternal (Micah 5:2).
Unless you want to tell me that God created a Being, in eternities past, that was without beginning or end like Himself, that is when you can say Jesus (His Spirit) was created.

But what you conveniently forgot to quote the rest; "no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
Also, if you read further into the chapter, it was clear that the hearer knew that He was equating Himself to God.
Therefore, based on this & my previous point that Jesus claims He gives Eternal life (we all know that only God can do such). Its clear that Jesus is God.
