The song and the opening is just amazing. Origa seems to hit it perfectly with the mood of the series. Ghost in the Shell is like 8 years old (2nd Gig is like 6 years), and I enjoy watching this far more then any recent anime series. Truly a classic. Who doesn't love Tachikomas?

Funny thing is I started watching the show on Adult Swim because of the opening songs, then I fell in love with Inner Universe and with Origa, and now I'm hooked on GITS on its own!

Does anyone else notice that this vid is at a slightly higher pitch than the others, including what is played on tv? It bothers me, because the real pitch of Origa is perfect, and I don't know if that makes me an audiophile or what... Otherwise it's perfect, just wish that could be fixed because it would be the only hd/q opening of it that I've found. I love this intro, along with Inner Universe. :D

I've noticed this happens quite a bit when I watch video clips posted online from out of the country. It seems to be some issue with whatever software is used to translate NTSC to PAL or vice versa. There should be some sort of pitch correction done during process and I don't understand why this isn't just done automatically.

The other day I watched an SG-1 clip that was uploaded from the UK and everyones' voice sounded as though they were in their twenties.

I'm not a software expert by any means so I would have never guessed that would be the source of the problem. Definitely needs some sort of correction. :/
