I had that exact Linkworld case a few years ago and it is really cheap and flimsy (flimsy...an understatement). The agp card kept slipping out of the slot and the metal used on this case is sub par to an aluminum soda can. I tossed the case in the trash shortly afterwards. The rest of this system shown here is low budget but what the heck...it works and that's all that counts, especially if you are on a tight budget. How does Linkworld stay in business producing such poor quality crap.

Forget the haters man, everything for 300 is a killer deal if you bought the parts new. I'll have to admit though, for the same price you could have bought a ddr2 system with a slower processor but faster ram.

I don't know if you read the description but this is not a gaming computer (as you can read in the title "low budget") when the economy was bad... and this PC include everything you need to watch movie and use it in an office environment... My cpu is a amd phenom x6 1090T. sooo.... 6(cores) x 3.2 ghz (per core) is 19.2 ghz. My computer out classes both of yours. Well except that i dont have a new graphics card yet. Planning on getting a radeon 5870.

@memberlif From what I've read, against the AMD Thuban 1090T and 1100T intel wins everything after the i7950 series and up. But the Thuban will beat everything UNDER those specs (i7945 and down)

I got my AMD 3700+ | Zoltek s939 and 2GB ram for 20$, put a new kit of ram and a 500GB in and gave it to mom.

This was a PC under a budget like the tittle said. The challenge was to buy all the computer components with $300 dollars and the computer has to be in working condition. That was 7 months ago as you can see on the information.

I guess it would be nice.....but honestly, do u rly need all of those accesories. if ur building a computer, ur probably had one before that. Dont think ull need a mouse, keyboard, monitor, printer, or ms office 2007 (use open office!)

Then u could squeeze in a Pentium Dual Core E5200, 2+GB of RAM, maybe even a graphics card, a more reliable PSU, and a nicer case.....

But otherwise, you have a really nice concept. I suppose if u have absolutely nothing this would be great.

it a 478 cuz a 775 didn't ajust to the budget... but right it only matter of time for a price drop for the 775 cuz the 1366 it out there so another idea is get part for ppl who are upgrading... Hope to see your 3D model soon... :D

you should add music theres programs out there to make your own if you dont want to take a chance of the video getting removed just a little tip and plus nice build! 5/5 even tho its cheap it still can preform well!

yeah I know but am taking avantage of youtube audioswap if they remove my video they gonna meet me in person LoL :D yeah this rig can do some damage... but is for a client... :( I have so many cases over here... I don't know what I gonna do... :p (maybe mod it - thinkin')
