"LET'S TURN OFF LIGHTS AND PRIVATIZE QUICKLY, before LAWYERS COME"

symbolized his scandalous disregard for rule of law, his politics of enriching nomenclatura and the Wild East swindlers (see Viktor Kozeny, the "Pirate from Prague", his ex-advisor, hiding in Bahamas from extradiction to US).

Global warming is not / wouldn't be a phenomenon that happens with a constant speed or even with same rate everywhere.

Which part of evidence you don't approve? Disappearing polar ice, species immigration, slightly changing average temperatures etc.?

Klaus keeps emphasizing that he's lived through communism and so has special knowledge of how freedom could be taken away from you. In fact he worked all the time for a state institution and deserves much less respect than Vaclav Havel who was in open opposition and served his time in jail. When Klaus says freedom he means economic freedom of those who can afford it - not respect for human rights as such. He is much to blame for the way law was violated in my country in the 90-ies.

Vaclav Havel was a Mason, pro-zionist and indeed obscure politican paid by Washington lobby cored around Madelaine Allbright (Half-bright) totally incapable of leading the country. He surrounded himself with former communists and other obscure figures. Absolute majority of Czech people dislike Havel, so you better do not mention him or clans around him who penetrated Czech politics in 90s. Klaus is highly respected in Czech republic, he is professional and consistent.

Sounds like a speech of a rich and ignorant white man. For example he mentions that the control strategy is expensive but adaptation isn't (true if the temperature would change less than now). Then he blames the first strategy for being unfair for poorer countries but fails to mention that it would probably be worse in the second option. Besides as far as I have understood, the rich countries are seen more responsible for the climate change and thus should lead the way - do the expensive part.

It is interesting that you think mentioning a skin color has something to do with racism. Let's say "western" or "a person from more developed country" if it makes you feel better. Anyhow, the industy MUST be controlled somehow to make sure that there happens as little as possible human rights violations, destruction of environment etc... And what does communism or freedom have anything to do with the usefulness or conventionality of nuclear power or the existence of global warming?

Global warming is a political movement. Politicians are using it to gain control over businesses and individuals through more regulation, taxation, wealth redistribution, etc. And the more the government controls the less freedom we have. More government control & less freedom, was a hallmark of Communism. If you only see global warming as an environmental issue, you're missing half the story.

How can you exclude politics when you try to affect the society and the companies? It sounds a bit as if you are opposing anything regulatory just because you fear your recent past experiences in politics...? Be careful not to overdo it. At the moment politics is making the progress to greener alternatives slower, not faster.

Slightly off topic: Less government control and more freedom in USA is a hallmark of the recent global recession.

Endel, I criticized you for pointing out the speaker's skin color for no rational reason. Then you substituted "western" or "a person from more developed country" for the word white. Those were the phrases you didnt use. Instead, you chose to point out the man's skin color in the midst of a sentence intended to undermine his credibility. According to the site I found, the scientists have found different reasons for each warming phenomenom on different planets. Besides your claim doesn't exclude completely the possibility of man-made warming.
