Colt AR-15 Sportster SP1 carbine 5.6lbs unloaded 650 - 750 rounds per minute. since the 605B model (1966/7) there's available military models with 4 selector which is safe mode, fully automatic, semi-automatic, and burst mode (usually 3 but can be 2 or 6).

my fathers quite high up in the australian DOD ( department of defence) and about a year after the shooting i remember a conversation between my father and a college of his about the shooting and a remark that has stayed in my memory is how a sniper had the shooter in his sights and was order not to fire apon the shooter in the cafe becase this was not how this situation was to play out..

Colt AR-15 Sportster SP1 carbine 5.6lbs unloaded 650 - 750 rounds per minute. since the 605B model (1966/7) there's available military models with 4 selector which is safe mode, fully automatic, semi-automatic, and burst mode (usually 3 but can be 2 or 6).

He states that Bryant used the same weapons: in Bryant's own police testimony, he states he only shot at cardboard cutouts with a totally different weapon. He was never at the site that day. my fathers quite high up in the australian DOD ( department of defence) and about a year after the shooting i remember a conversation between my father and a college of his about the shooting and a remark that has stayed in my memory is how a sniper had the shooter in his sights and was order not to fire apon the shooter in the cafe becase this was not how this situation was to play out..

Same when Bryant ran out on fire - wasn't shot because the person on fire may have been a hostage. So if this is a big conspiracy theory - why not kill Bryant? Firearms laws would have happened anyway. I was there. I heard Bryant say later that he did it and why. I knew Bryant before April 28. I have been in his house- yes he did it. In the course of my employment, I have come into contact with two of the victims that day. One shot up near the petrol station, the other was in the car park. Due to my interest, I asked them some questions. The guy in the carpark politely refused to comment, but the petrol station victim was very forthcoming. He claims his statement was never used by the police. And he will swear to his dying day that the pictures he's seen of Bryant do not match the guy who shot at him, & he was shot from 15m!
