Hi, I'm digging your video. I was hoping you could help me. I've spent the last week looking for something to use to compare games too. Would you be so kind as to let me know what software you are using to do your side by side comparisons? And is it possible to get higher resolutions with it?
I mean can you tell me the prosess in how you make these videos? Only thing I can do is use a web cam, make two videos, post side by side and then record those two but that's sucky and out of sync.
@msecool I used some rather old software to edit this vid, i doubt you will be able to find it. It's called MGI Videowave 4, MGI is now known as roxio. This is the highest res i could get it, I recorded the footage via capture card i spliced each section of the replay to make it fit using windows movie maker (As the bleem version had minor slowdown's that threw the sync off-balance) and then converted the videos from WMV to MPG for use in Videowave (As the software does not support WMV editing).
@msecool Then I used the bleem logo as a background, and used a function in Videowave called "Video mixer" that let me put the 2 clips side by side. Then I produced at 768x576 (The highest it goes, it's uncompressed AVI so it takes A LOT of room up) and compressed it using WMM and uploaded it. Hope that helps :)
epic fail!!!!! the dreem cast was an epic fail for its time and this si like comparing a ps1(not x because x is a total difrent operating system) to a dam super nintendo and saying well super mario bros 3 looks way fucking beter on a dam ps1
Ugh too much SLOWDOWN on the DC one! People should just BUY the official bleempack for 10 dollars! It would be so worth it. Although... The beta does look better graphicly than the PSX

@sillydillydokieo PSX = Extremely low resolution with no anti aliasing
DC (BLEEM!) = Anti aliasing with high resolution screen (although it seems a bit same as PSX, But graphics slightly improved a lot.)
To understand what i'm trying to say, you gotta know what Anti-Aliasing or Multi-Sampling is. It's part of the game graphics.

I dont mind the slowdown, besides its only really on the replays/start of race. And anyway, time attack races run almost flawlessly.
