It's very simple, non believers (in the box) are the religious ones. It's sort of annoying that people who have these very real experiences aren't undergoing more physical examinations (or have surveillance cameras set up in their house..) Have any of them been checked for implants or marks or any other signs of abduction?

@ameisingset There have been people who have undergone surgery to remove foreign objects. Most of which were metalic and triangular in shape and were not there previously to their experiences. One woman said she had implants put in her frontal lobe, back of her head and each temple and was told "Now you will have the ability to help people who are physically ill"

One of very few good documentaries I've seen about abductions. Apart from the sudden chainsaw right after 07:00, there are none of the frightening effects which could so easily have turned it into just another horror-mystery.

Yes, people are scared, just like goldfish are scared when you remove them from their bowl. Speculating on whether visitors are "good, bad or ugly" is even worse than putting the entire humanity in a single category.

Some of these people are scared because they are being taken against their permission by beings that they have never seen before. Their fear is from their unknowns and lack of trust. They never really said that they were ever actually "harmed" or had anything "cruel" done to them. Maybe, the beings are not "hurting" them, the people just have no trust. Maybe, the beings are doing it to improve society, to raise our consciousness, to evolve us. Maybe, they are helping us in some way.

I had years of being paralysed at times .. it was sleep paralysis in my case .. caused by being extra vigilant/highly strung. The paralysis part is easy to explain. Before I saw this documentary I was skeptical not about but aliens presence on earth but the abduction phenomena. Now after seeing this documentary I cannot make up mind as to whether I would like be an experiencer or not. A part of me really wants to but the other part tells that I would die of fright. Presuming that there are alien--here. My education tells me that the Universe is full of life, and that they are possibly here now...but we do not know for certain.

And on an other note, could this be mental illness? I have heard of many schizophrenics and psychotics who have claimed to have been visited by aliens. I know this will get thumbs down like crazy, but I thought I'd mention that. Mental illness runs in families and can make some one see beings. Same symptoms.

As they introduced Dr. John Mack in the beginning, he was a highly respected and experienced psychiatrist who taught at Harvard Medical school. Several times throughout the film, he stated that this was not mental illness and gave the reasons why. I suggest that you rewatch it if you didn't get it.
