I watch the NBA and I see a bunch of very talented, very athletic slackers. They jog up and down the court, cherry pick, and maybe most importantly they don't play defense. I love College Basketball, but the NBA is just plain boring.

It's like you say, the NFL has time that they don't play, that gives them time to recover from injuries and they can then play harder. NBA doesn't have that, and the season is just too long. As far as college basketball, you are dead wrong, it is organized and they play harder than any NBA player out there.

@Cooley96 I for one appreciate defensive effort in both football and Basketball. I don't see defensive effort in NBA games, and thus they score a lot of points, not to mention the games are longer than college games. I mainly watch Big 12 basketball and those teams usually score somewhere in the mid 80s or higher, or at least the winner does. To say that they only score 60 is absurd and wrong. True they score fewer points, but that is due to better defense and fewer minutes per game.

@7jsm7 Believe me I appreciate defensive attempts too and the players of today do get babied by cheap foul calls that's why you see less defensive effort because players don't want to foul out every time. In NFL defense is legal so of course you'll see it there. What doesn't make sense about college basketball to me is creighton has a 20-2 record and ranked #15. That makes no sense because that's the best record across the entire NCAA.

If I like to see defense then I'm not going to enjoy a game that is 110 to 115. That's boring, it' stupid. Anybody can score that many points if they aren't defended. And true rankings in college are strange, but it's based on strength of schedule. If you schedule yourself against bad opponents it will haunt you
