A Gyarados is the easiest shiny to get..

1. Put Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie in your party

2. Have a pokemon that knows surf and go to twinleaf town

3. Surf to the middle of the lake

4. Fish for about 20 minutes

5. Have fun with your Red Gyarados

While I was fishing on Leaf Green I found a golden Magikarp then I transferred it to Pearl and evolved it... That's how I got the red Gyarados ;)

lol perfect nature for gyrados and an awesome shiny. I love shinys that can't be chained, so i SR for a shiny dratini in Firered and got one 2 days later lol. I need to get a shiny gyrados, so im buying leafgreen and SR for one at the poke center near mt moon where the dude gives you magikarp.

good luck with squirtle! mine came roughly 3-4 sr's in. 1 random shiny since but still sr'ing for bulbasaur and if you go to rt 229 in d/p and use the super rod gyarados will appear 100% of the time so thats my next target after bulbasaur! anyways, good luck!
