same happened to me accept I snapped both my radius and Ulna and the bones were bent out of shape and I needed to get plates in both of them..

why didnt they at least clean your arm you have a nice nurse or docter though my doc did mine crappy i will never get cast again my break was just minor im luky i dont have with those oins i dont think i need a cast

@jebthechicken lol i looked this up mine is removed in 6 lol i shattered my elbow, and i might have to get surgery because there is 5 or 6 bone fragments broken off of my bone.

They are plugs over the wire....so the wires dont push into my cast

does it hurt if they take it off with that thing when they cut it they mite cut youre skin or is it protection thing?

Nah it doesnt hurt....it doesnt cut skin...not sharp at all

its not meant to cut your skin but when i broke my wrist (scaphoid) the nurse pushed a bit too hard with the saw and i got cuts all along my arm!!! after that they put metal protection down the cast before they took it off!

right after you break it, they dont put a cast on right away, they give you a temporary cast/splint, then they load u with vicodin

i've had two broken arms, and for me they just put me asleep but it back in place then put a white cast on, then got a waterproof one after two weeks
