Matt Smith has moved forward over the past couple of years to become one of the top young drummers. His critics haven't. That's all anybody needs to know. Very soon Matt will be out playing huge gigs, while the youtube jealousy trolls will still be posting their stupid opinions that no one pays any attention to in the real world. Matt's a winner. I don't know steelcurtain. Usually when people out this guy he runs away or reinvents the truth as something else. If this is the same guy, he once submitted as a live recording on a forum a recording of Dave Weckl and Chick Corea as his own playing. He's the saddest case there is. Just an empty glass. When he started the BWAHA stuff and made comments about my Dad on one of the videos where I erase trollspeak, I pretty much had him pegged. He's a total imposter, probably not worth more time.

I know who this troll is now. Believe it or not folks this guy is almost 25 years old and as you can see has some problems. He's from a drum forum that I helped get him banned from for pretty much the same behavior he uses here. He's a fake player meaning that no one has ever seen him play. I think there are Art Verdi similarities with the hands approach and the fact that this video is also in a dirty room (lol). But I think their styles are pretty different when it comes to solos. I like this solo a lot. That cymbals and rims thing is great.
