I changed it to wav like other people on warbeats told me to, and it still doesn't work. It looks like it's suppose to but, I really don't understand this at all.
i suggest u buy the cd single which most of the time has the instrumental and the regular song.then import them onto your computer as waves because mp3s are missing importants stuff 4 this to work(thats why they're so small) and invert from there.
for those of you who don't understand this.. he is trying to take the lyrics out of the mix, not the instrumental parts.
He is using a form of destructive interference or as he states "inverting" the original waveform so that essentially it cancels out the other waveform (frequencies which build that waveform) of the instrumental track with the vocals, leaving only vocals left to sample.
The problem is gettting the EXACT identical instrumental track, so that the EXACT peaks and vallies of the frequencies can be timed up to use this method. If you don't have the exact identical instrument version of the song, and have them lined up perfectly, it won't work.
I still can't get it to work because the peaks just aren't mixed the same on the 2 files I have, yet they sound exactly the same if I play them together on beat.
ok one more comment haha... you WILL hear the beat in the background on a lot of these, but if you can match it up with a beat that fits right, it'll barely be noticeable... going back and remastering the mixdown of the CPU helps too!
I think it's possible to extract vocals without an "instrumental" version of a song. If you have a verse in the song, chances are there will be a time where the verse music plays but the vocals aren't playing. If you copy just that part of the verse, move it over to where those instrumentals play in with the vocals, and invert - you should end up with extracted vocals.
I am trying to take the vocal out of the song - Sexual Eruption by Snoop Dogg...I can't find a instrumental that matches up so I can get the accapella...could someone please help me out on this one...thanks in advance
It is so cool! 10x you are grat but I have one question... I have one acapella and one song. It seems that if I invert the acapella i will get the instrumental but it won't happent please tell me it's my mistake or it's not the same damn think like acapella makeing... please write me Personal massage or e-mail... 10x
great video man, really helped me out with a few elusive vocals. just one thing though.
I noticed that with some instrumentals, despite being matched up exactly with the track itself, as time elapsed it no longer was in-sync with the other track. could this have been implemented to counter any tampering with the vocals and such?
