  • this have been very helpful, thank you :)

  • awe thank you so much !! you have a better idea Gerard ?

  • awe thank you so much !!

  • this guy is terrible at tutorials never mind boring you to death

  • amazing. you hero

  • that takes so long

  • Can this be done on Fruity Loops or Acid PRO?

  • @Toymit Yes as long as the program you use let's you invert and line up tracks.

  • Can you invert in Protools?

  • what song

  • where's the best place to get instrumentals?

  • adobe audition is the same like cool pro edit

  • It Looks more like a Cool Edit Pro

  • It was cool edit

  • @indio2dr adobe audition is cool edit pro

  • I changed it to wav like other people on warbeats told me to, and it still doesn't work. It looks like it's suppose to but, I really don't understand this at all.

  • whats the name of that program? Please tell me :P

  • adobe audition, i think he said

  • Dats Cool Edit Pro 2.0

  • how to export stuff out in to wave or mp3

  • It doesnt work on every song!!!

The Song in this Video isnt masterd.

If it was masterd, it doesnt work!!!

And most music today is masterd!

    Bustard!

  • doesnt work for me

  • just to let you know guys.. this dont work with MP3S.. which i thought is obvious considering how mp3s are coded!!

  • Well what type of format does it work with?

  • Do we have to obtain the wave file? Or, can we just convert it?

  • DO NOT WORK!!!

  • That shit dont work.

  • im gonna be honest, but this is fucking pointless.

*still searching for how to extract an acapella

  • This method's outcome is a professional acapella, not instrumental.

  • i suggest u buy the cd single which most of the time has the instrumental and the regular song.then import them onto your computer as waves because mp3s are missing importants stuff 4 this to work(thats why they're so small) and invert from there.

  • dude which program are u using? O.o shouldn't u say that at start of the tut?

  • He is using COOL EDIT PRO

  • it's adobe audition

  • he just said he was using Adobe Audition. clean your ears, bro

  • He says "I Got Adobe Audition opened!" ..

    jesus...

    good tut tho'!

  • for those of you who don't understand this.. he is trying to take the lyrics out of the mix, not the instrumental parts.

He is using a form of destructive interference or as he states "inverting" the original waveform so that essentially it cancels out the other waveform (frequencies which build that waveform) of the instrumental track with the vocals, leaving only vocals left to sample.

  • does anybody know a tut of how to remove the instrumentals instead of the vocals? O.o

  • one could use the a capella in a similar manner

  • no but heres how you wood do it... get tha acapella of tha song and reverse its polarity and then lap it over tha original song

then u shood have just tha instrumental but it seems like if u can find tha acapella u can find tha instrumental

  • he IS removing the instrumental in this vidio!..and only the vocals are left so he can use them!

  • Is there any other software you can use to do this?

  • Thanks for the tutorial!

  • Works Fine Thanks. For The Info...

  • Instead of looking for the instrumental, wouldn't it be easier to make a karaoke version(which is basically the same)?

  • im tryin this but doesnt seem to work at all. anyone else havin problems?

  • The problem is gettting the EXACT identical instrumental track, so that the EXACT peaks and vallies of the frequencies can be timed up to use this method. If you don't have the exact identical instrument version of the song, and have them lined up perfectly, it won't work.

I still can't get it to work because the peaks just aren't mixed the same on the 2 files I have, yet they sound exactly the same if I play them together on beat.

  • i dont get how it cut out the beat by doin that

  • Sounds like Eminem...

  • ok one more comment haha... you WILL hear the beat in the background on a lot of these, but if you can match it up with a beat that fits right, it'll barely be noticeable... going back and remastering the mixdown of the CPU helps too!

  • they release the beat in a different bmp for some reason... happens A LOT!

I for one HATE CPU acapellas and they rarely come out clean! But I will try this out cause its always good to learn new stuff!

  • damn this is neither version 2.0 or 1.5, which adobe audition version is it ?

    Plz answer

  • looks like cool edit pro 2.0, what I use

  • where do i find the instrumental for cascada - what hurts the most? or any other song. i just need an example

  • Drama Setter By Tony Yayo

  • I think it's possible to extract vocals without an "instrumental" version of a song. If you have a verse in the song, chances are there will be a time where the verse music plays but the vocals aren't playing. If you copy just that part of the verse, move it over to where those instrumentals play in with the vocals, and invert - you should end up with extracted vocals.

  • I am trying to take the vocal out of the song - Sexual Eruption by Snoop Dogg...I can't find a instrumental that matches up so I can get the accapella...could someone please help me out on this one...thanks in advance

  • Dammmmmmmmmm !!!

    Thanks !!

  • the song is called drama setter

  • yeah i cant find a beat that is the same as the track like i find the instrumental to the track i want but it wont match dose that happend alot

  • thanks dude, nice vid.

  • you think cool edit pro 2 would work?

  • It is so cool! 10x you are grat but I have one question... I have one acapella and one song. It seems that if I invert the acapella i will get the instrumental but it won't happent please tell me it's my mistake or it's not the same damn think like acapella makeing... please write me Personal massage or e-mail... 10x

  • whats the name of the song?

  • audobe 2.0

  • what program is this

  • wow thanks man, i really need a visual tutorial rather than reading it from a forum, thanks! i understand now!

  • this so great...thx...but why does this happen physically????

  • Because the positive sound waves negate the negative ones, leaving the vocals isolated.

  • damn niceeee

  • this shit sux, because it only works on some songs, rarely works.

  • its not workin can sum1 tell me wat im doin wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eww is there a way to do that in acid 6? if u kno how plz help

  • The instrumental being inverted cancels out the beat.

  • great video man, really helped me out with a few elusive vocals. just one thing though.

I noticed that with some instrumentals, despite being matched up exactly with the track itself, as time elapsed it no longer was in-sync with the other track. could this have been implemented to counter any tampering with the vocals and such?

  • damn thats amazing, good work! thanks a bunch

  • woow cool!! thx man

  • GENIUS!!!

  • ahhhhhhh so thats how u do it.

ur tutorials have help me alot man

    thankz
