When there is mentioning of minimum wage, the American leaders say it's going to hurt the economy. But when there is mentioning of executive bonuses, the American leaders say it's necessary for economy. Apparently raising wages for a lot of lower-level employees is bad for competition and investment while raising wages for a few executives is good.
Same action, different standard. Do as they say but not as they do. What a world!
So lemme get this straight, our government gives out billions of dollars for AIG,the old CEO goes out with a huge bonus and all the executives get a huge bonus as well. New CEO comes in, probably making a 7 figure salary with bonuses, and has the balls to say on camera that he's on vacation "working".
It would be nice if the company did (with the help of a creditable news reporting team) show employees that DO try and let us know they screwed up and working hard at it!
As a CEO of a company, maybe he should act the part. Last time I checked, a good manager doesn't manage from his bathtub, he puts on some pants and presents himself to his employees. If he's "on vacation" while doing business work, the I hope to see on their financial statements that he's not paid for his "vacation time"

Whoa you were working a week longer than we know about? Yes, that extra week definitely justifies a vacation.
Go to work like the rest of America. Your company already has had a bad rap so do be another dickhead landing them on the news.
