  • sounds the same

  • Do you live I'm Stockton ca?? I swear I've seen that excursion around

  • do they leak or are they air tight?

  • @PIZMORIDERS QTP offers an electric cutout designed to never leak. check them out.

  • +1 on never trun off engine after reving "hard". If so, the turbo is really hot and not getting cooled down by the air going through it and the oil running through it(and sometimes some turbos are water cooled). Best to let the temp drop a little. If not, the oil inside it can burn inside the turbo and become carbon residues(In the bearing that ain't too good).

But not saying you reved hard though. That was like 1500 rpm.

  • Never shut down a turbo vehicle after revving it. Nice though.

  • how much do one of these cost

  • how much do one of these cost

  • What is the #1 reason for this add on ?

  • @

Richard5873: Cause its cool as hell!

  • Does this give You more power & better MPG with 7.3 PowerStroke

  • sounds different is this a diesel engine?

and have you had any probs with the cutouts since youve had theM?

  • gangsta weld job

  • lol

  • no that is a cut out it cuts out befor the muffler so its louder and a lil bit better on ges

  • it also gives you more power because it cuts out before the catalytic converter or muffler slow the exhaust flow

  • @Sw93firebird the exhaust isn't just for sound it does need a proper amount of back flow or an engine will just run and sound like shit

  • @the1onlyteagro You're right when you think of N/A cars. But turbo cars have all the back pressure the engine needs at the turbo. With a turbo car/truck you want as little back pressure as possible after the turbo. It's the perfect amount of back pressure to keep things safe but not bog it down.

  • wath is that?

    it's a kind of turbo?

  • Stock turbo, QTEC cutout, kind of like an electronic exhaust dump.

  • ooo! nice...

  • Where can I get one of these for my 7.3L Excursion??
