Actually, they are parodying TWO songs from the movie series, the opening is based on "Frodo of the Nine Fingers" from the Return of the King that Rankin Bass did as a sequel to thier hobbit movie. I fully expect the next time Lemmiwinks shows up, we will get another song reference to the movie (maybe a parody of "Fifteen Birds" or "Where there's a Whip, There's a Way"

the creators of south park are VERY anti-progressives... i know they make fun of republicans too, but I hate how they put far right wingers and far left progressives on the same platform. they are NOT the same! i'm not just talking about this wikileak episode and I know this is just comedy but they ALWAYS make fun of progressives like michael moore, environmentalists, political activists, vegeans or anyone who's more forward thinking. the producers of the show are funny but definitely not smart

I understand that this is just comedy and I still believe southpark rocks as a show.

However I also am of the opinion that this episode,impacted negatively the current sensiteve case against Assange among people who are neutral on the matter.
