The only 2 games I can think who have got the horror genre right so far are Silent Hill (Well half of there games) and Amnesia the dark Descent.

F.E.A.R. is for pussies, and I apologize to anyone who likes the game, because I do too, but I like it not as a horror game, but as a shooter, because as a horror game, it fails.

The creepy little girl concept has been over used too much to the point where its not even scary anymore.

Really, if you find F.E.A.R. scary, you need to play some actual survival horror games.

As for F.E.A.R. 1, it was suspenseful, but scary in NO WAY.

I liked F.E.A.R. 2's multiplayer and F.E.A.R. 1's campaign, but they ARE NOT anything to be scared of, and if you are, your probably also afraid of Bioshock as well.
