True, you can't completely learn japanese from anime, but after watching some 400 episodes, I've started to pick up some grammar and stuff, not just phrases and random words. There's no better way to reinforce learning a language than to be exposed to it extensively.

U'll start picking up more advanced and real every day used japanese. Thats what im doing now, after having watched tons of anime before.
