It's been sad to watch you being destroyed by these drugs. The drugs are the cause of your problems now. They cause more than they treat. You have a better chance of getting well if you get off the drugs, really if you never went on them but the damage is done now. Your body can't heal if you continue to put drugs into it. You already have dyskinesia and akathisia damage.. Eventually you will have diabetes and heart disease. That's the main effects. Sad because you could have a better life.
So glad to see you and Dolores back home and doing well makes me smile :)
you know Mel every time you laugh l always laugh too which is good because laughter is the best medicine specially a good gut laugh l hope you take your doctors advice and take some time away from the computer.
By the way, thanks for the video update, Mel! I missed you while you were gone with no videos to watch! :)
P.S. Congrats on the Klonopin script. Benzodiazepines are a great drug as long as you can be responsible with them. They really help for anxiety and for getting to sleep. I am prescribed 1mg of Xanax (a drug in the same class of drugs as klonopin or clonazepam) and it helps me a lot as long as I am careful with it. Just be careful with it and it will reward you.
In my opinion trazedone is one of the most worthless drugs still available readily through prescription. There are so many side effects and negatives and hardly any positives. Sometimes it can make you sleepy like it's supposed to, but it's dangerous and worthless compared to any other drug that helps people to sleep. I can't believe the FDA has not pulled it from the market, personally.
Mel, you are a totally compelling storyteller. Your stories aren't boring in the least. I'm not good enough with words to explain why-I think they carry the kind of truth we absorb in folk tales. Those stories aren't "made up" stories except on the surface. Deep down, they're usually more real than the stories we read in the newspapers or history books.
Everyolne is glad your okay. Go out on a date with Rob. See your girlfriends. Walk the cats outside. Find a community group to do crafts at. Contact your local NAMI and find out about support groups. We are all cheering for you. Take care.
We are both supposed to use the computer less and find other things to do. Nothing on the computer made Dolores go to the hospital but it has bothered her in the past.
Wait, I'm confused, is this like an experience you had while on drugs or something?
