I have to disagree with this video about cacao. Them saying cacao isn't raw or healthy is not true. You can by unfermented cacao beans, which are really raw and healthy. This nonsense about cacao being 'unhealthy' has no scientific evidence backing it up whatsoever. Please, someone tell me in SCIENCE how raw cacao is unhealthy? I'd love to debate with someone who understands science like I do.
The longest lived woman on record (Jean Louise Calment who lived to be 122) ate 2 pounds of bakers chocolate a week.
A tribe in Panama called the Kunas have high rates of longevity and they consume chocolate (I believe roasted). There are neighboring tribes that have identical diets except they don't have the chocolate and they have higher rates of heart disease.
Real world examples AS WELL as science has never given us a negative view of chocolate (unless it's filled with sugar and dairy).
Exactly. Not to mention, the longest living dog, who just died recently, also ate chocolate - and that's no coincidence, since most dogs do not eat cholate today. There is nothing wrong with cacao, just make sure it is really raw and organic. In fact, you can't go wrong with unfermented cacao beans because it's really 'raw' and it even contains more antioxidants than other cacao beans. These guys bashing raw cholcate can't give us any scientific evidence of it being unhealthy whatsoever.
Yep, and it was even on the front of Yahoo news a little while ago. I was going over the food it ate and it seemed like a somewhat 'normal' dog diet. It ate a lot of human food and chicken, which is still better than processed dog food, but still, not something that stands out health-wise. Then I read that it even ate chocolate. That's the only thing that stood out, since most dogs don't eat cholcate today. The dog diet at age 21, which is 147 in human years!
Damn, it's not letting me repost the link, even without the dots. Just Google "Yahoo news longest living dog" and it should be one of the first links that pop up. The dogs name was "Chanel" and it was a dachshund.
trader joe's "raw" nuts are not raw. they do not sprout when you soak them.

How about pickled food? Such as cucumber and kimchi, which is a form of cabbage are they not good to eat?

"Raw" sewage comes to mind. By definition. Not that it comes in any other form, or that anyone would cook it....
