@Jfoley17 You do realize Bogues is 5'3 and Kidd is 6'4 right? That's over a foot difference so I don't think it's the same dunking on both players learn your stuff before you comment.
Hibbert is one of the most skilled, yet underrated centers now. He has great footwork, great agility, and has WAY more post moves that D-Howard. Hibbert has great technique and he's gonna be a dominant center anytime soon.
i thought he was overrated at uconn and not a top 5 player. But i was SO suprised when nobody mentioned him in the draft and he got picked so late. what a steal, i still dont get hes 7'2 and actually has moves and he gets drafted so late
What I noticed is that Hibbert is so soft. If he wants to use that 7'2" do it like Shaq / D12 and punish the rim. He does hook shots ok but I remember he missed a wide open shot under the rim VS Toronto a couple nights ago which if he would have dunked probably would have made it and excited the crowd as well.
hahah yeah right. Oden would beast this kid apart. He is too weak. I've seen Oden back down everyone with ease except for Shaq. Hibbert will be a decent NBA player, but just doesn't have the talent.
He's really slow... but his mind and power are fine.(not dominant, I mean) But, I think he will be a nice puzzle for pacers with Tyler Hansbrough. (I hope Pacers gets the first pick this year and pick John Wall.)
Pacers are too good to get a shot like that in the lottery but not good enough to compete deep into the Play-Offs. Just a bad spot to be in at the moment.
I know, that is the worst spot to be in in any sport. They really need to do good this year. They finally got some luck with their draft picks. They got Tyler Hansbrough in the 1st round. And got AJ Price, a 4 year starter from Uconn, if that doesn't work I don't know what will.
If This Guy Bulks Up a lot over the off season he can be the next Shaq/Dwight . His Athleticism and his height can go a long way , Keep in mind hes young and has tremendous potential to be an elite center
Yea he has a long way to go in improving his athleticism and technicality down the paint... has major potential, but his game down the post needs lots of refinement for him to go up better against the big men. He's slow at going to the basket and doesn't get deep enough to get good position. Other than that, he has decent ball-handling skills although it needs lots of work styll. He also needs to muscle his way into a bulkier frame to expose himself as a dominant force. Right now, he's a lank...
chicago needs him!I'm imaging him with d-rose on pick'n'rolls

Hibbs is the hardest workin man in Indy. He may not dunk like Dwight, but he's got skillz!
chocolatecity1974 1 year ago 6
Whats really amazing is how much stronger, agile, and faster he is than last year. He's Indianas 2nd best player now.

Who cares how he dunks. He is far more skilled then the pretend centers in the NBA who can only score on fastbreak jams.
