I've been to countless concerts and sporting events. I can honestly say that I have NEVER heard anything as loud as the second that everyone realized that the kick was blocked. It was incredible.
Tennessee's line was soo garbage, not to mention Bama's was so good with Cody, it wasn't much of a surprise to see it get blocked, again. I enjoyed seeing Kiffin go down, lol hope he enjoys his time at USC, being as he won't coach another bowl game for 3 years (I think....)

I'm a bama fan through and through, but what i saw constitutes as defensive penalty, which means the game should have had one more play. however, i dont think UT would get another shot, jus 15 yds and bama take a knee
The CBS announcer has apologized for even bringing it up. CBS spoke with NCAA officials about the incident. Even if a flag were thrown, it penalty would have been a dead ball defensive foul and the game would have ended because no time would be on the clock.

It can end on a dead ball defensive penalty and a penalty on Cody would have been a dead ball personal foul even though it happened during the play.
Bama recovered the ball and was down when they recovered it ending the play.

If you were a Bama fan there that day, that was a moment you will never forget for the rest of your life. Getting tackled by 3 of my best friends in the student section and falling on top of people 3 rows down is my favorite memory of Alabama thus far. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

Just another great chapter added to this rivalry. Tennessee is a better team than people give them credit for being, Alabama (Terrance Cody) just made the play in this one. I'm sorry... You must not be from the SEC (or South in general) or you must be affiliated with a mediocre prgram.
If you were from, say, the Univ of Alabama or Univ of Tennessee, in this case, you would understand his reaction.
It was not for camera time, as you alluded. Nor was it for any type of selfish reason.
This is one of the greatest and most intense rivalries in all of sports... not just college sports. Everything.

Iv'e been to many games and have to say that was one of the loudest games I ahve been too. Even my friends who live in T-Town said the ground was shaking and they never felt that before.

omgsh I was at the game in the student section and I'm a tennessee fan and I was not offended by that chant. I actually like it even though it's Bama's. Bama won the game and they should celebrate. It was a good game plain and simple.
