  • This was really good!

  • Paganini

  • I'm playing this for a solo and ensemble competition and I even find it a little hard to play (mainly the play the pluck section) and I'm 16 >.<

  • @Shiny614 yea im seventeen and i looked up this song on youtube to make sure i was playing it right and i find a nine year old blowing me right out of the water.. :/

  • Wow, that was great! This was two years ago; are you (violinist) still playing? I hope so. I really mean it, you did a great job.

  • wow!

i'm 12 and i've just begun working on this piece

try to keep your instrument up...

  • im learning this one.:)

  • Great Job!!!!

  • This is absolutely beautiful as I am shopping for my first fiddle and starting lessons

  • I am using a Suzuki book now (I'm no where near this good, I only started violin like 2-3 years ago, anyway) and I wonder you see like all the little 3 year olds learning by Suzuki, are they learning to read notes or just the numbers at the top?

Also I feel sorry for child prodigys, being pushed and pushed, not living a little.

  • cool, im from guelph too.

  • Very nice! I am playing the same for my grade 4 rcm exam. Great shifting!

  • wauw great job girl!!! You can really play!!

  • wow.... she has a very VERY good intonation.

I'm not saying all kids are like this but we as people understand that they're learning so we dont expect them to do so great at times.

I know that if I'm waiting for a 9 year old to come out on stage and perform, I'm expecting cat scratches and screeching but I was wrong.

I loved hearing it. Very surprising. I hope she keeps it up.

  • how talented!i play oboe myself, but i can tell she's very good.

  • Suzuki is a method of learning music. Children start very young and learn to play by ear before they learn to read notes.

Charlotte started off in Suzuki, but she is now studying Royal Conservatory.

  • What made Charlotte switch?

  • may i ask what does suzuki mean?

  • Suzuki is a name

Suzuki Shinichi is his full name. He's a japanese person who makes books for the violin, cello, flute etc for learning purposes.

  • haha thx! I now play the Suzuki method for violin. I love violin.

  • Very nice intonation! Work on developing your vibrato so that when you want to, you can get a wider vibrato.

  • Nicely developing playing! Good job! Hold that violin up to open the sound more :) Your sound also improved a lot around 3:18, where you started to be more creative with sound colors and phrasing, and you sounded less student-like and more musical. That was good, so do more of it!

  • wow!!! so great!!!

  • Great tone! Beautifully played!

  • You can tell she really enjoys it!

  • the tone's lovely =]

  • nice

  • wow your great!!!!! keep up the good work!!

  • Beautiful emotion behind your playing! My seven year old son is still trying to get the feeling in those types of pieces (on cello, though)

  • Beautiful intonation and expression Charlotte. You go girl !!

  • omg!ur so nice and talented.

    10 cents =]

    thats so sweet of u!

  • Incredibly talented young lady with a very bright future ahead of her. I enjoyed this video very much.

  • Wow! you are Brilliant at the age nine or so. You are amusical prodigy. you have a bright future

  • Good job. Sweet and clean:)

  • Congratulations Charlotte! You sound really nice and with a really good attitude towards music. Keep it up!

  • Good tone. That was a really good

    performance. Emily

    Very good speed. Daniella

    :) :) ;) ;)

  • Very nice!

  • great playing! I like how you put feeling into it, which is rare in a violinist your age. so keep it up! a couple things:

-check your left elbow and the position of the violin on your neck. it looks like its pointing down a little to much. You shouldnt be supporting it much at all with your left hand. You'll know its right when you can comfortabley hold your violin in position without using your hand.

  • donate those 10 cents :)

    that was a wonderful piece.

  • I wish I could play that well...

    Thanks for supporting Bannedaid :)

  • Great

  • Very Good!! I am a first year student and have not reached your level yet! Go Get'EM!

  • wow that was really good, i wish i played like you =]

  • YOu have great tone. I am really sensitive to that, if it's bad, I can't even listen! Keep up the great work! :)

  • Thank you!!!

  • Just precious! You are way better and I'm twice your age. I'm 19 and Hope to play as good as you someday...

Thanks to you and your family for fighting BSL in Ontario.

  • Thats beautiful! And it must be nerveracking to perform in front of so many, I used to play piano so I know. How old?

  • Very nice indeed! Thanks for putting this out for all to see!

Oh, and thanks for supporting BAC.

  • very well played

the only critique, because you asks me for:

sometimes the piano is to loud.

changing the positions could be a bit more clean ;-)

  • This is very good! The tones and dynamics are wonderful. Keep it up!

Also, thanks for commenting on Albert's video. He was encouraged when seeing your comment!

  • For my, it is well that you play by heart and in public... very well! But, obviously, you have to continue this way and, if you can, she lifts your violin but it arrives... according to my vision.

  • Wonderful performance! You really feel the music. Thanks for commenting on Eilia's video. Check out our fun Violin/Pirate adventure home video too...:)
