@appledumplin012 Ok but Namco has nothing to do with Ar Tonelico 3. The only reason they get mentioned is because Namco bought Banpresto and Banpresto and Gust are the brains behind the Ar Tonelico series.

It does look like Finnel could possibly be Cocona, at least that's what I think from looking at her and Cocona plus adding what Jacqli asked her to do at the end of AT2. Hopefully this gets translated not too long after it comes out in Japan, it looks great and I really want to play it. XD One of the reasons I want a PS3 so badly.

I wouldn't count on that. We also saw a picture of Finnel and Akane as kids in the scans, and it was also said that Finnel has lived in Clusternia all her life. Summarizing: Finnel = Cocona -> 0% possible.

does anybody else here think that Finnel (purple haired heroine) looks like Cocona from Ar Tonelico II (if you beat it you should know what I'm implying) and after having just checked out the scans she has the exact same pose as Cocona when she's in normal conversation. Oh Well knowing NIS America this game might get translated (let's cross our fingers) but luckily it's for PS3 so we can just import it as easily. Although I'll have to accelerate my learning of Japanese.

GUST is still developing it and they might be working with Banpresto on this one but all Bandai Namco is doing is publishing it (which might incur problems with NIS America although it's not likely as Bandai Namco can just say "no we'll localize and publish it in NA") but as each Ar Tonelico has very different ways of playing (with core elements like diving still staying but each game, including this one, adds a new twist) you really can just play it by itself although you may miss fanservice.

This game is a continues of 1 and 2? Because i´ve nerver saw these games on sale in my city, but i´ve got interested in Ar Tonelico 3, and never played 1 and 2.

If it's anything like AT2, you should be able to play AT3 as a standalone game, then revisit 1 & 2 at a later date. Characters from previous series should make an appearance, but I don't think they are going to affect the overall plot/theme of the story. However, this is just speculation based on what AT1/AT2 were like.
