@4:40 in the presentation, the guy says "God opened the door for me to go Greek." If anyone opened a door to go greek, it was satan. Greeks are elitist clubs, acknowledge false gods, and are known for all sorts of debachery (drunken parties are a given, hazing is still reality, and the "formals" he referred to are nights where a college version of a prom is held, and most of the attendees engage in sex). Def a place for "Christians" to join up.
@Me112233 I think you have the wrong impression of Greek life. You are right about many things, but when you said "most of the attendees engage in sex" I had to laugh. You're just as guilty of forcing undue sexual guilt on poor college students as some Greeks are in promoting a hedonistic lifestyle. Believe it or not college is a time to explore sexuality and hedonism in an environment that is relatively safe to do so. If you don't like it go live in Saudi Arabia, fuckface.
An internship? Yeah right . . . Some internships are paid (i.e., you get a paycheck) . . . Some internships are unpaid (i.e., you don't get a paycheck) . . . . And then there are Campus Crusade internships, where you have to pay them to be an intern . . . . how stupid can you be . . . . YOUR heart might have been in the right place, but CCC's heart was in your wallet (or maybe more precisely, in the wallet of the people that CCC used your "poor helpless girl image" to open up)
