i would firstly look software wise for the hardware is both inexpensive and also is readily available. So far i haven't been able to find software that does something useful. I mean all this stuff you see is show nothing real. It would be great to be able to inter grade this into windows atmosphere
well, I have been doing some research on the software. There are some libraries that basically add support to the multi touch function. So, the rest of the development should be the same. There is actually a windows 7 beta that you can download, and it has built-in multi-touch support. I wanna work with this as soon as i built one of this screens.
rear projection displays from Evoluce were used for this installation

mostly they use high polished plexi or sometimes it's tempered glass. The touch part is a very old technology using IF cameras

thanx for the info. Yes, indeed i've seen a couple of do-it-yourself projects on the web. I wanna build one for my place, any recommendations???
p.s. the projector is obviously behind the screen right?

Great! Did T-Mobile use a version of Windows Presentation Foundation to create the application?

No, ist´s a Mac OSX based socket-software, combined with an ir-camera-tracking-system and a common rear-projection.
