  • rear projection displays from Evoluce were used for this installation

  • does anyone know what material is the screen? looks like iPhone-like glass

  • mostly they use high polished plexi or sometimes it's tempered glass. The touch part is a very old technology using IF cameras

  • thanx for the info. Yes, indeed i've seen a couple of do-it-yourself projects on the web. I wanna build one for my place, any recommendations???

p.s. the projector is obviously behind the screen right?

  • i would firstly look software wise for the hardware is both inexpensive and also is readily available. So far i haven't been able to find software that does something useful. I mean all this stuff you see is show nothing real. It would be great to be able to inter grade this into windows atmosphere

  • well, I have been doing some research on the software. There are some libraries that basically add support to the multi touch function. So, the rest of the development should be the same. There is actually a windows 7 beta that you can download, and it has built-in multi-touch support. I wanna work with this as soon as i built one of this screens.

  • well you need a projector, some IF leds, plexi glass, computer and a good webcam that can see IF, I think logitech does for the most part

let me test that i'll let you know.

  • sweet

  • Real nice man. I have been building my own Multi touch system at niceminds dot com you should check it out.

  • I'm a member of the NUI group, too! I will put a link to your website from my blog.

  • Great! Did T-Mobile use a version of Windows Presentation Foundation to create the application?

  • No, ist´s a Mac OSX based socket-software, combined with an ir-camera-tracking-system and a common rear-projection.

  • hon that is awesome :D

  • Nice... I Like it..
