Saving Private Ryan is fiction (although Private Ryan is based on a true person...ironically a paratrooper, there was no search and rescue mission for him). Band of Brothers is 100% real and thus, better.

As a soldier i know the statistics of war and you have to calculate that you need 10 men to kill one enemy when attacking an occupied possition while entering open space. Therefor they made a hell of fight, not to mention that the axis forces lost more soldiers on D-Day than the allied forces

on one episode the americans and english are beaten by the germans so this series doesnt show the germans to be a weaker stupider force

DRxTOASTEr105, the germans were not always made to look like that, and in this case they were made to look like they had no clue, because alot of the times, they were being ambushed or attacked. they were scared and its hard to act normally when ppl are trying to kill u

no we didnt see them climb that cliff, though we did see them hold bastogne for months in below zero temperatures, under constant enemy shellings and mortars. and they never gave up, and certainly didnt appreciate being "rescued" by Patton. although you rangers were stealth and a great asset to the US, dont belittle the 101st for what they did for your country.
