@punkboy459 the reason why most schools dont have ASL classes, is because they wouldn't understand, believe me they wouldn't understand... I am known as a "CODA-Children Of Deaf Adults" yes both my parents are deaf, they are the only ones in my family deaf, we had to transfer schools so much because we getting picked on all because my parents were "different"....Deaf people aint different, the only thing that sets them different from us, is the fact that they can't hear.schools dont understand

I don't know where you are learning to sign but you do sign with BOTH hands ie Jesus, Heaven, whatever, egg, and the list goes on! You are supposed to sign mainly with your Dominant hand meaning signs like hat, need, my,you, and again the list goes on. Also along with that you are fingerspell with your Dominant hand. Dominant according to the Merriam Webster Dictionary that applies here is: being the one of a pair of bodily structures that is the more effective or predominant in action. Clear?

Thats ridiculous. There are one handed signs and there are two handed signs. Plus, your dominate hand is generally the one you write with because it is better with fine movements. The non-dominate hand, when used, is generally used as a platform or doing the same movement as the dominate hand.
