Dayton's campaign promises to raise taxes on a minority were in jeopardy when in an historic turn of events MN elected a very Red house and senate majority. Dayton saw the writing on the wall that the new reps would defend ALL citizens of MN, not just the majority as Dayton does. That is when Dayton gave his hypocrisy laden speech about "working together". What he means by "working together" is "do what I say". He was given a balanced budget and veto'ed it cause it didn't raise taxes.
when i googled mark dayton i had to go 3/4 of the way down the page to find out he is a democrat??????was there also a comidian in the front row also???what a state ya got there eeehhhhh??i can't talk i come from mass. john kerry and former teddy[i can swim] kennedy..we are all doooomed...
Yup, "working together" means one guy holds the whip and the other guy does all the work.
