I made all these models for a total conversion mod. The models are low poly because they needed to be ready for the game engine. The textures and designs were all done by me. I was a huge fan of battletech since I was very young. I don't think anyone will ever truly capture the real concept and spirit behind battletech in any video-game or movie. By the time game technology catches up to battletech, the battletech universe will be too quaint to seem like a plausible future. I hope I'm wrong
Having been an avid Battletech fan since I was but a wee lad of twelve, I can honestly say that you capture the true spirit of BT in your work, my friend.
The first, and especially second, shots of that Combine Jumpship are some of the most spectacular BT imagery I've ever come across (And indeed, were there any way for me to snag a copy of that file for use as a desktop, I would certainly appreciate it =P)
Someone's got a copy the 3057 Technical Readout! Those were the best drawn ships, much better than the 2750. Cool to see all the FASA era stuff coming to life.
I was making these models for a game based in the Battletech universe. The designs I was assigned to make were all from the 3067 Tech readout. I agree 100%, the artwork was some of the best ever made for the Battletech books, and I have a LOT of battletech books.
actually many of us have a copy of it. All my stuff is stored away including around 600 miniatures from when we played Battletech on a massive scale. NO weak kneed people at our games. NO home made silly rules. Pizza guns and cigars were on the menu lol
This is a feast for the eyes. Wish you would make more.

Personally I do not see what everyone thinks of this being 'great' but each their own.
The music is not something well thought out either.
