..further, team work is not defined as working in large groups only. The SEALS, like SAS, SpetsNaz, Dutch SF, etc operate in small numbers like 4 men. Thats when team work counts. The fact that they sometimes don't easily work well together with larger groups of Infantry or Marines has to do with the style of their work, their methodology or because they don't prefer it. No country is training their SF's to become less better SF than others. It's the scope of their work that makes the difference
If you take a close look to history, you learn that the skills of the man or his weaponry aren't so decisive. It's about determination. The SEALS are very good but on a global scale not the best. In competitions they will equal SAS, Foreign Legion, etc. If they would invade S. Ranger School is extremely hard, some ASF Soldiers cannot even graduate, along with some Navy Seals so I was told by a few Rangers that I've met. Rangers ARE bad ass. I agree with what you said about Delta. However I don't know about DEVGRU being the most versatile force on Earth. All SOF are QRF forces. They are all very versatile but each have their own specialty.

Green Berets are not based off of SAS. Delta is. All SOF is dangerous, they train whenever they're not doing the real thing. Delta, does , Sea, air, land aswell, It's just not in their name. Delta detachments have their own specialties just as all SOF units do.

..further, team work is not defined as working in large groups only. The SEALS, like SAS, SpetsNaz, Dutch SF, etc operate in small numbers like 4 men. Thats when team work counts. The fact that they sometimes don't easily work well together with larger groups of Infantry or Marines has to do with the style of their work, their methodology or because they don't prefer it. No country is training their SF's to become less better SF than others. It's the scope of their work that makes the difference

If you take a close look to history, you learn that the skills of the man or his weaponry aren't so decisive. It's about determination. The SEALS are very good but on a global scale not the best. In competitions they will equal SAS, Foreign Legion, etc. If they would invade S. Korea, the Korean SEALS would beat the shit out of them because they are d-e-t-e-r-m-i-n-e-d to defend their home land. USA is depending on large numbers and technology and still loses a lot since '45. Greetz from Europe

I'd say it probably is since there is no enlistment option like there is for the SEALs or even ASF now. And that Delta gets most of their recruits from the Ranger battalions or ASF.

Ranger School is extremely hard, some ASF Soldiers cannot even graduate, along with some Navy Seals so I was told by a few Rangers that I've met. Rangers ARE bad ass. I agree with what you said about Delta. However I don't know about DEVGRU being the most versatile force on Earth. All SOF are QRF forces. They are all very versatile but each have their own specialty.

my cousin was a captain in the rangers. he complete ranger engineering school and airborne training. i agree with you it's tough. the only reason i said seals being the most versital is because they incormporate all elements ground sea air. sas is what green berets were based off of but delta is still the most secret and dangerous

Green Berets are not based off of SAS. Delta is. All SOF is dangerous, they train whenever they're not doing the real thing. I'm not going to diss another SOF and say that Delta is the most "dangerous" because I can't, I haven't trained with all American SOF units, and I doubt you have either. Delta, does , Sea, air, land aswell, It's just not in their name. Delta detachments have their own specialties just as all SOF units do.
