At the same time, the Bible does seem to allow for other forms of slavery. The only thing ex-gay "therapy" did for me in my late teens was open my eyes to the fact that I am actually bi. And being bi just means you have some same-sex and some opposite-sex attractions. At the time I didn't understand or realize that bi was an actual option or choice so I ignored my attractions to men and only focused on my attractions to women because I thought that if I dated men then I'd not be able to date women anymore, and I'm more attracted to women. This "therapy" fucked me up!
